Just got word that my Steve Perry interview -- THE AUDIO -- will run on Ottawa's Majic 100 in January...... The radio station streams live over the internet so anybody in the world can hear it.... Just thought I'd let you know....

Someone was under the impression that the interview prohitited audio replay on air and was only allowed to be distributed by printed copy.

Is there any validity to this?

Majic streams worlwide... go to majic100.fm and test it out!!

And yes -- audio replay was prohibited, but I asked the proper people for permission and it was granted. I would never breach a trust or "interview rules".... This is why the interview was in print first -- at that time there was no permission to play the audio anywhere... now, that permission has been granted and I'm thrilled... it'll sound so much better on air than in print....

Hey there..a fellow Canuck..Remember I hate your Senators...Anyway, your station; it's definitely on the soft side. How did you manage to pull a Perry interview from an out of the way bumpin post like Ottawa? Beautiful city and all, but Ottawa? Was Perry looking for you personally, or was there a reason why Los Angeles or New York(stations), were denied?

Your station is soft rock lite....I just don't get why Perry favours this over rock stations lke KLOS(Los Angeles), where his pals Mark and Brian work, as well as Uncle Joe Benson. They all kiss his ass.

I have no problem with Perry slowing down a bit, but Mariah Carey? Puke.

I was trying to tell Marabelle and Fernando that Perry wasn't "really" a rock singer....oh he may have been for 3 albums, but as soon as the situatoion presented itself, he definitely got the pop thing going in high gear.

Mitch, are you and Andrew friends? I am curious. I would like to ask you a question in PM..

Steve already gave a preview DVD interview to KLOS's Uncle Joe in early November...

All I can say is
"The more Perry the better"...LOL

I think he does his homework
When he feels like talking he does a little research
He gives his time to those who he feel'sl will be respectful of him.
