I'll see your prediction....

I've got a better one:

On their next upcoming tour, Journey will close their shows using LTS as an encore.
You heard it here first!

MMMMmmmmmm....I'll modify it to "rock album."

Covers, unless they're rock covers, and especially not standards covers (latest to grab Rod The Mod's coattails is Eddie Money to Andrew's chagrain) will not count.

I'll bet you Perry puts out an cd before Journey does?

Hope you win that one. Are you talking about a whole album by Steve or just an appearance on someone else's? Or maybe you mean you don't think Journey will record again. :?:

Now there's a no-brainer! Especially, and in light of, his Chicago performance.

Well, If Tommy Denander really hits it off with Perry, he may just be the catalyst Perry needs to record an album. I can easily see Tommy politely pushing Perry in a creative fashion. And I can see there being a little rock to it. I wouldn't call it a rock album though, anymore than I would call U2 a rock band.

I don't know anything about Tommy Denander, but if he gets Steve to sing he's allright with me. 8)

 U2 not a rock band?

Ex-rock band,at least that`s how I personally feel about them. :( It all ended with 'Joshua Tree' for me. That`s a masterpiece for which I forgive them for everything they have put out after that.

I just always think of them as a rock band. I don't consciously put music into catagories when I listen to it. If I like it, I like it regardless of the genre. There is just more music I like in some genres than others. I have a great deal of respect for Bono and will always think of U2 as one of the great bands.

Exactly what I was getting at!

"Achtung Baby" was a great rock CD as well IMO. After that......all downhill! In Fact, I would say that Building The Atomic Bomb sounds like a weak remake of Achtung Baby.

That's a bit judgemental. They're a rock band in the same way that Nirvana was a rock band. You may not like the music but that doesn't mean it isn't rock. If it's not alternative rock (which is what U2 ALWAYS WAS), what is it?

I agree.

U2 isn't close to a rock band. Thay are just a political ass kissing pop band.

Maybe that`s why they`ll be inducted in the R`n`R HOF in March.
Then Bono can relax and get his 1.5 mill worth Nobel Prize. 8)
I`ve read somewhere he spoke at both the Republican and Democrat party conventions in the US. True?
Busy guy,eh? :D
