The game is over. They just don't want to admit it.

Reasons why it is over for Journey:

1. You're in your 50's not your 20's or 30's.
(Never have gotten used to old people trying to rock.)

2. Nobody cares about your new music.
(Except for a few thousand people at best.)

3. You do not have the voice any longer.
(I know he is nuts now but come on folks. Ask any ordinary American citizen why they liked Journey and you know what they will say. People were attracted to Journey because of Steve Perry's voice. Oh sorry. Forgot. They were attracted to Journey because of Neal Schon. RIGHT......................................................................)

With that being said, all that has to happen now is for Neal, Jon and Ross to admit reality. But I'm sure none of what I just said makes any sense.

Hey Andrew, before you get all torqued and bent out of shape, instead of making a Steve perry forum, why don't you create a Hate Journey Forum? It would get lots of use by these skanks.

I usually don't respond to you vulgar remarks. But dude, LOL, you are sick. I still like you though. Even though you are a liberal/socialist/communist.

That's your problem. Neal has really improved with age. He was always amazing, but now he is a force of nature. Just awe-inspiring.

Then don't listen to it and don't buy it.

Neither does Steve Perry.

Regarding the thread: Dunno about that. Let's wait and see what they book in the coming months. Europe's still on as of now....I think '05 was more than usual a grueling year/tour. The whirlwind recording of the brilliant Generations, the compact approx 2-week intense rehearsal period, a full on slate of mostly 3-hour shows from June clear through into winter. The guys are all 40+ and some attrition was to be expected. I'll take this 1 cancellation at face value until something further happens.

Come on Andrew. Cut the guy a break. He can't help himself. He's a modern day liberal wich means he lives by his feelings, not by any critical thinking or reason.

And Deano, don't pull the George Bush is a fool thing on me, I have known that for some time now. But what I don't get is why you liberals are so against him. He's got a lot more in common with you guys than he does any conservative.

Well, im not going to agree or disagree. All I know is, that if you love what you do, and theres still somebody willing to pay you for it, or maybe even enjoy it? why the hell not. :)

After all, we are all human and often like to have fun... I don't think we are ever too old to stop enjoying ourselves.

Steve Perry is the true voice of Journey in my opinion, and its his voice that made them unique and stand out from the rest, for me. I still enjoy the new music - I can live without it, but its still good music non the less. And they are getting payed, and thats never a bad thing - I think :)

Um, I don't know which gender you are, but turn off Rush and Faux news. How the hell can you label me a liberal? Because I think for myself? Because I think everything this Administration does is sleazy, slimy and wrong?
Dude, you need to do better than to compete with me..

As compared to 'conservatives' when they talk about abortion, or flag burning, or religion in schools, or any number of emotionaly charged topics...To hell with the Constitution, the laws of this country, and court rulings on the above - your feelings are more important. So much so that "conservatives" would rather amend the Constituion to LIMIT A PERSON'S RIGHTS (which, as far as I know, has NEVER happened in the history of this country) then to admit they are wrong.

"Conservatives" should find another label - cuz they are only 'conservative' when it suits them...When it doesn't they are just as liberal as liberals are.

Deano! I haven't listened to Rush for 3 years. All he is is a republican cheerleader. He is not a conservative. He's been divorced 3 times for God's sake. Plus he sticks up for Bush who is NOT a conservative at all. I DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM.

As for why I give you the liberal description? Scroll back up and read what I said. By definition a modern day liberal is governed by his emotions not reason. This is not to be confused with the classical defininition of a liberal. A classic liberal for example is Thomas Jefferson. I would fall into that category myself.

In general, I could not agree with you. I haven't been a republican for a long time now. Mainly because they grow government just as much as the dems plus they leave our borders wide open in time of war. Yes. That is a sad thing.
