What are the best videos on here? RockNDeano, I think you threw this dvd out around November when Houston came out. SO go on your rolodex memory.
To my money #1 is Loving, Touching, Squeezing. I like the live setting of the song, it looked like a really cool vintage show wherever that was. Perry with the big giant mike he had in all those '70s videos. Neal actually playing slide like the record in a live setting...I get a kick out of when the audience stands up and they splice in the crowd roar at the end. It's a lot like the Send Her My Love video with a studio recording set to a live performance.

The only thing about that video is that Perry acts very feminine in it. I'm sure it was to entice the ladies but it gets a bit (all too?) much. Let's face it folks, Journey came from an era where it didn't matter how flashy your videos were as long as you delivered the music.

However, I have to say my personal favorite Journey video isn't even on there. I like "Chain Reaction", cheesy for sure as all the [bFrontiers[/b] clips but I think the band looks pretty cool in their black suits. And Perry dancing in the background cracks me up every time.

I also like the Any Way You Want It video on here. Even though they can't totally get this sing right to a lot of fans like ours satisfaction, this video shows a killer rendition nonetheless.
Neal, when he puts the axe over the back of his head and the expression of intensity on his face...very cool video.

Really? I remember seeing it a lot back in the day, and had never seen After the Fall until the GH DVD came out.

CR is a cool video, 13. We have to get that to you somehow. I may have it on an old VHS tape somewhere.

After THE FAll's a good one too. What is that guitar Neal's playing? I guess that's the one he used on the record, too for one his greatest ever outro solos (NIG, You HATE ATF :lol:

). Bonus points for camp value, too. Valory flicking the cig while they're all making their points to SP at the table one xone... One of Ross' coolest moments.

My favorite video from the GHDVD is When You Love A Woman.It has a certain “flavor” that goes so well with the song...I can`t even describe it.The director was a genius.Wayne Isham,if I remember well.Anyway,I think that WYLAW is the only true state-of-the-art video in Journey`s history.
13, you`re right about the LTS video,it`s so 70s! Gotta love that.
I think LTS was filmed in 1979 at the U.C. Berkeley where Journey had a free concert.

WYLAW is my favorite too. Just a classy feel to it, and I like how the various band members fade in and out during the video. Neat camera trick. That big camera zoom leading into the guitar solo with Perry stepping aside for Schon is a nice spot too.

What solo music videos of Gregg Rolie exist? I can't imagine Columbia making more than 1 of him for both his solo albums. I can't find any on You Tube. Inquring minds want to know.

I agree the music video for "When you love a woman" is the most polished and well produced video. For me the ROR concert footage is my favorite to watch. Great camera angles, stage design, and lighting. The Mt. Aire concert looked like it was such an energized show.

Yep, Mt. Aire is a great memory. Aug 1986 if I remember right. The other bands were pretty good. Glass Tiger and Honeymoon Suite. GT was on gone pretty quick after riding a wave on the song that Bryan Adams cameod on.

Andy Taylor seems to be the forgotten artist that played that day. His solo band that day included Terry Bozzio on drums (if I am remebering correctly) Hell, I would dig a DVD of the whole damn day.
