Ok.Let`s see...Most of us are members of these Forums because we can speak our minds and talk about anything.Music.Bands.Singers.Politics.Showbiz.
I know I am not a long time member here,but I have an idea about what makes this forum special.I have seen the good as well as the bad;I laughed and I was shocked,I was intrigued as well as bored.That`s what makes this place alive.I guess that`s why all of us keep coming back here.
Now...One of the long time members of Melodic left this place.
Who? You all know who.Wasn`t hard to notice who`s missing.
Why did he leave? Good question.
Some know the answer,some don`t.
No matter what are the reasons why he left,thing is this place is not the same without him.Come on,admit it.
You know,I imagine this place like our big kitchen where there`s always something cooking.But now we are out of Pepper.How boring.Food has no taste.
We need to put the spice back where it belongs.
So...
Listen to what Charles Schulz had to say:

I do enjoy all the spices that make up

I may not agree with Deano or even like him
at times.
Yet he is one of us here and I am sad
to see anyone leave.
Pepper...yup thats a great way to describe him
although I see him as the really hot white pepper.
Numerous times Deano has made my belly shake.
That is always a good thing,we all need more laughter.
He can be a bit tiger like at times,but he is still one of
us and I would hope he returns.

I said "one of the long time members".I believe Deano has enough posts to prove he dedicated a lot of his time to be here.
He`s a part of a veteran team and I just have the feeling that the "machinery" is not working right without one of its main "pieces".
It`s all about a certain kind of equilibrium.

It seems to me that lately:

the tall tales arent quite as tall
the mellodrama not quite as mellodramatic
the arguments arent as emotionally charged
and there arent nearly as many bodily injuries to participants here

that said, regarding giving any individual poster a "hello" or "goodbye" endorsement or rejection, I'll just respect everyones right to be here......or not, and abstain.

He really hasn't been here that long and when he first started posting, he didn't know squat about the Journey story. I don't believe he ever told the truth about ANYTHING. You were fine if you bowed to him, but if you crossed him, your ass was grass. I did enjoy seeing him run roughshod over the goons here and lead you around by your noses. He would say,"Jump" and you all would say, "How far?" Too funny!

I have to disagree with you. Dean and me did not always get along, or see eye to eye. I'm a Christian and at times Dean's language (along with some others) have gotten to me. But Dean always seemed to know when he crossed the line with me, and would apologize to me.
Dean is passionate about Journey, and didn't take no crap about them. Was he always right? NO, no one is. But I don't any of Dean's friends jumped when he said to.-ERIC

He certainly was passionate, but i felt he took things way too far with his personal insults in order to get his point across. We're all passionate about the bands we love, and i'm all for a debate as we all have out opinions, but that can be done without the bullying tactics.

So quite frankly i couldn't give rat's buttocks whether he stays or goes. There's plenty other posters here who's posts i enjoy reading.

I hope for his sake
it was just an act to get attention
Because if he was really that way
He would be one of the world's lonliest men.

I for one enjoy a good laugh & some fun
But I can do without abusive demeanor & pun...

Dean is the heart and soul of the board. I hope he comes back soon.
