Red Rocks just got to me...What a perfect combo of nature, image and sound!
Thought it would be fun if we could find out what is everyone`s fave venue.Well, pictures would be great even if you didn`t take them yourself.
Maybe even a concert memory?

I`m in love with this place:

This place is better, because I have been there.

The Gorge in George, WA.

However, in this place, I tagged a fellow intern under the bleachers of a Canucks game... GM Place, Vancouver, BC.

Deano, Red Rocks is in Colorado. That and the Gorge are probably the two most beautiful venues in the country!

I am almost considering going to the show because it is at Red Rocks...

I say we all hop on a plane, attend the concert at Red Rocks, and crash at Dave's place! :P

My husband just suggested checking out Red Rocks this summer.

Another great venue is the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA.
Saw Journey there last year, literally saw the 'sun shine on the bay' while they performed Lights.

So you are a fake here?

I have been told the same thing by someone close to me too. Like I could go around as rockndeano in real life!

Oddly enough, you could say "fake" but all I really do is try to be as clear as possible for everyone. I take great pains to not offend most people. At home, you don't have to like it! ;)

I don't really give a shit if i offend anyone or not. To me, it's all about the truth. If their feelings are hurt, fuck em.

Boy, that's a neat trick since the bay is at the opposite end from the stage! ;)
(But you're right, I like the Mtn. Winery too, and last summer was a gorgeous night out there!)

Meanwhile, got my tix for Red Rocks... my one road trip this tour. :)

Ok, 28. I was going to fly to Philadelphia and meet up with the Triumvirate(NIG,13 and TNC), but screw them. I am going to Colorado. I will ride in on the train. You pick me up at Denver?

Can we have a keggar?

Just tell me when!

But I checked out the prices: $65 for GA!! Gotta wait a while before I can pick those up. Just got some bad news at work so I am not sure what is gonna happen yet.

28, there sure seems to be a lot of chatter lately. After all, you do have over 12,000 posts on Back Door, err, Back Talk...That in itself, is borderline affirmative pole smoker status.

Dude, You need to get a backbone on here, and help throwdown against the stinky Euros and Heads.

There is a spot uptop where you can see the very end of the bay and the stage at the same time.

Me too.

Red Rocks is so overrated and so 1980s. Who wants to go to a show and stand in general admission??? Not me.

I can name so many other venues that are outstanding for rock concerts.

Thanks,
