I think the odds are pretty high Tommy is a verry talented guitar player and songwriter. And verry respected among others, Love his stuff.

I believe that Perry & Denander will work together. I don't think Tommy woud be giving this information out about Perry working with him , if HE didn't think it wasn't going to happen.

The announcement read "next week" but it also said he was going home next week. There seems to be a little wiggle room...

At this point I could give a rats ass what Perry does...he'll continue to earn his income from Journey's back catalog and probaby dabble in some studio shit with other artists, but I don't see him doing much else.

Do I think he should perform with Journey one more time? YES! Will he? NO!

Sweetie, see, Tommy is speaking and he says he "hopes it happens." Key word, sweetie, is hopes. You sometimes need to read between the lines, and then there are the times when you actually need to read the lines. I would think if this was a solid partnership, the dates would already be in the bag. What does Perry do? Get up, and if he decides to have coffee that morning, he calls Tommy and works with him?

I agree with you, yak, on the first part. Tommy is "hoping" that will happen, but that is all it is. Nobody but Steve will know if it will happen or not.

I think its best, and I wonder why people dont seem to, let Perry be and if he decides to go into the studio one day, great then...! If not, just leave him to decide what he wants to do...whether he wants to record a new solo/covers whatever album or get his laywers to call Jon and Neals lawyers for a TBF Pt 2... :wink:
