WHY HAS JOURNEY TOURED ALMOST EVERY SUMMER SINCE 98?

Because they can. If the fans had stopped accepting the band as they are, they wouldn't be buying tickets, the venues wouldn't seek them out, they wouldn't have been able to have successful tours on their own, they wouldn't be able book huge arenas with Def Leppard or Styx/REO, they wouldn't be able to include CD's with the price of a ticket.

The fans still want them and pay good money to see them. So, why shouldn't they tour?

Did they tour almost every year between 1978 - 1984 ONLY FOR THE MONEY? I don't think so. It's always been a PART of the equation - but not the ONLY part.

Well my opinion is that Augeri does not even come close to resembling Perry's exceptional voice & talent!!!
