Who do you think Andrew is referring to?
RUMOR MILL!! REUNIONS AND TOURS!:
A little excitement behind the scenes today - I'm hearing strong whispers about the possible re-union of a much loved band. Exciting stuff for fans that have waited a long time for this...let me continue digging and see what information I can't come up with for next week.
And no....it has nothing to do with Van Halen! [Why do I feel the need to add that disclaimer all the time?!]

Genesis?
My vote is Skid Row Bach w/ Sebastian and Affuso.

Genesis has already announced reuniting with Collins and Gabriel. Skid Row? Are they much loved?

Dunno. I'd have mixed emoptions about replacing Sollinger, but to go back to Bach is a smaller scale version of Jrny/Perry.
I think that if it was a bigger band, Andrew's piece woulda been bigger and more detailed. I think the size of the blurb fits Skid Row's (w/ Bach) profile in the world. Decent sized, not huge. But still, it IS the headlining news item for the front pg.
You're right, the Genesis has pretty much been done.... unless it is Journey (which would explain the top line of the front-page issue).

The real Guns & Roses? But that's been hashed over plenty too.

Journey wouldn't bring back Perry just before they are touring with DL. And I don't think fans have "been waiting for this for a long time." Just the Loons have!

I posted this thread in the Styx forum, too. Someone there guessed Damn Yankees. Good guess, I think.

Well, Damn Yankees are more loved by me, I guess.
Hey, let's hope it's HSAS!

I'd love to see Damn Yankees in concert!
Anyone notice Deano has been quiet on this topic?

He has been quiet the last few days. What's up, Rock?

I'll just wait and see what happens.

Well you KNOW it's not Journey...Andrew has steadfastly denied this possibility!
Skid Row sounds good, but I doubt it since Baz has been talking up Damnocracy.

I know I am dreaming here but I am hoping it has
something to do with Perry's pipes.
Come on Andrew talk or this could get ugly man!

It's GnR, it's gotta be.

Not GNR, Not Damn Yankees and noting Perry / Journey related.

White Lion?
Extreme?
Led Zeppelin?
The Police?
David Lee Roth with Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan?

It's not the bullshit Scorpions "reunion" is it?
Because that BETTER not happen. This band is the tightest they've had in ages.
I'll buy into a Meine/R.Schenker/Jabs/Roth/Maciwoda/Kottak super-lineup though. That'd be cool, for one tour.

It's Zeppelin or Floyyd. Period.
I'd prefer Zep, but I'd prefer (and I know it's out of the question) VH the 1984 lineup over all.
Could be Aerosmith featuring Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay (am I the only that likes Rock And A Hard Place?)

Are they going to pickup Styx?

A band cannot truly reunite if a member has died (Zep). That's like saying a pairing of McCartney and Starr is a Beatles reunion.
To be honest, a Plant/Page/Jones reunion would not turn me on in the least.
Much loved... much loved... hmmmmm...

Alice In Chains has already announced...there HAVE been lots of rumors about GNR and Genesis. Kiss is only missing Peter these days....Pink Floyd has been denying since July. Extreme is reuniting, but I think they announced already and much loved? Eh...
Actually, I think it IS Led Zeppelin. I read rumors a while back that Plant and Page have been seen together in LA working together. Could happen, just need a new drummer(pull Jason out of Foreigner).
Much loved is pretty subjective, but Zeppelin IS much loved.

Here it is:'
It's still too early to tell for sure, but there just might be some Led Zeppelin-related activity this year. Singer Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page are both confirmed for a tribute to Atlantic Records head Ahmet Ertegun at the Montreux Jazz Festival on June 30th, and the fan-run but highly reliable led-zeppelin.com website reports that Plant and Page "are scheduled to perform together" at the event. Rumors have been circulating about a one-off Led Zeppelin show in Europe this summer, Plant, Page, and bassist John Paul Jones being joined by drummer Jason Bonham, the son of late Zep drummer John Bonham. Jason Bonham currently plays with Foreigner, and they have a show booked in London on June 30th. Representatives for Jones and Bonham were unaware of possible Led Zeppelin work.

I am pretty sure it is Extreme. One date was announced a while back so I am guessing they finally ironed out a tour.

You HONESTLY consider Extreme "much loved"?!
That is the clue there. Besides, Extreme is not a rumor, they have already announced they are getting back together.
