Generations songs?

Postby Adikeo » Sat May 06, 2006 12:20 am

Anyone think Journey will perform any songs from Generations this tour and if so, which ones?

Definitely FITH. And maybe TPIYH. Every Generation is possible. Other than that, they may pull another out every now and then.

Out Of Harms Way needs to be dusted off. Given the expected demographics, that should go over well.

Least melodic Journey song I can think of. Never have liked it. I don't need a ballad, but Christ. It's actually one of the tracks on Gens I skip. More likely to listen to Believe.

Me too, first few times I heard it, but then it grew on me. Reminded me of the pre-Perry days.
It is my all time favorite track on Generations and it kicks some serious a$$ live.

I really hope they play it this summer.

Out Of Harms Way is the best song on the CD(if you discount Pride Of The Family).

There should be two solid hours of rockers and not much of those sugar sap oldies. Some Neal solo stuff. As for Gens, TPIYH, FITH, OOHW to name three.

I just read that Def Leppard are going to open their set with 3-5 tracks off "Yeah!" and then go for the hits. Maybe Journey will do this as well....

Huge fan. Should've already been in the show.

Maybe it'd go somewhere live. The song just drones on, never hits that climax, you know? On the album that is. Live, maybe. I skip it too on Gens.

Holy crap! Well, much kudos for them to have the balls to do that, but they might want to reconsider, seeing that the crowd will have just been whipped into a frenzy by a tight Journey GH setlist.....

Good Lord. Leppard are nuts if they do this. Open with one, maybe two off "Nah" then play what people came to hear with a few bonuses.
