I'm seeing them this weekend, and am curious how much of their new album they'll be playing....

That hunk of a man Peter Cetera....I imagine him at mcDonalds in his soccer uniform throwing down ice creams singing to Amy Grant in his high pitched kevin Cronin wannabe voice.

I know that Einstien. However Eric referred to the 25 or to 6 to 4......so Peter was fair game.....
They are just a good club band.
What I meant to say is they had a few hits when gayboy was there.

Chicago is a great band...and their new album is solid (Give it a listen).
25 or 6 to 4 is one of the best rock tunes ever.....

He used to cover all of Cetera's parts, but nowadays its shared between him and guitarist Keith Howland...who is a limp wristed player comapred to past Chicago guitarists Terry Kath and DaWayne Bailey IMHO.
Enjoy the show Eric, i'd love to see the band!
Monker wrote:Terry Kath was someone Jimi Hendrix inlfuenced...but, I doubt Jimi would be very impressed with anybody replacing Terry Kath.
Paul_UK wrote:Very true, but Howland just has no personality or power in his playing though compared to ANY of the past guitarists the band have had and IMHO weakens the band's over all sound.

Sorry, They used to be decent, but frankly now blow dongs.
Actually, their new album is great.
Do you have anything at all nice to say about anyone or anything these days?
