MICK JAGGER WILL BE GETTING HIS OWN SITCOM!

I kid you not!

Since the Summer leg of his tour had to be cancelled, he's in talks / pre-production right now for a show called:

Brace yourself:

"Let's Rob Mick Jagger."

Don't believe me? Hit the link below:

To be honest,at this point,I`d rather see Jagger acting than singing.
Besides,he really IS a good actor.

I don't see that the (tied for) world's greatest rock band cancelled the summer leg, did they?

I read Stones sites every day.

No skin off my bag....I like Jagger's voice. Favorite era was from '81-'94 when he had that growl thing he could do at will, which he has unfortunately either lost or doesn't do anymore. I thought he sounded awesome and loud as hell on A Bigger Bang but alas, not a growl to be heard on it's 16 tracks. True, Steve Perry he never was. Still the greatest white blues singer.

Yes. How DID the academy pass over his tour-de-force turn in Freejack? :D

I haven't heard anything to confirm they've cancelled either. Pollstar has a string of dates up, they just moved them back into June.

Sure.
I like his face,he's definitely a character.
I'm not sure though how will he act in this sitcom...Maybe he should torture the burglars. Something like Culkin did in "Home Alone". :P

I read his appearances will be VERY few, mostly toward the end of the series.

I am not going to give much away, but a good buddy of mine that works at ABC told me that one of the robbers will get cold feet. This robber is eventially caught. To get him to talk the police throw him in the joint. His cell is right next to Richard Hatch. Hatch who was given 52 months for tax evasion just uped his prison stay by 10 years by punching out a guard. In order to get his sentence reduced he has to get this guy to talk, and fill the police in about the robbery.

In the mean time the Mick Jager robbery is a success. One of the robbers is a former Northwest Airline Pilot. He joined the robbery team because Northwest had recently cut his salary by 40percent. After they escape, they are all to fly to some remote island. As fate would have it their plane crashes on the exact island that houses the 'Lost' castaways.

Season one ends with 'Wilson' floating in some lagoon surrounded by dozens of Lord Beasly's ever so rare pussycat swallowtail butterflies. Headhunters walk the shore and appear to have Mary Anns head on a stick, or was it Gingers???

As for season ll ???????????????????????????

Also, ABC is trying to draw the over 100 crowd. To do this Keith Richards will be making cameo appearances from time to time.

In a rare rare twist of fate, it is also rumored that Mick Jager was really bitten by the acting bug and will be replaced in the Stones by none other than Steve Perry. Steve's voice has deteriated so, it now sounds like vintage Mick .

That's about all it is right now, but I'm betting it happens...if not fall, they are saying maybe early 2007.
