I've read certain posts today that imply that Augeri is lip syncing in concert. If that is true, then everyone who plans to attend one of their shows NEEDS to know this.

To those who have implied that Augeri was lip syncing on tour last year: PLEASE TELL ALL OF US what the truth is!!!!!!!

Think about this. If he is lip syncing that is very much like fraud in the business world. We are not getting what we pay for if this is happening.

I'm serious guys. Tell us what you know.

We "know" Steve has attained some help from Deen. We "know" he has attained some help from tape. Deano says he he and TNC "know" more, but of course have been asked not to say because it would ruin the band...

If you seriously think about it there isn't much left to ruin. What do you have left with Journey? A band that's only strength is to tour to old people and whose singer can't do justice to their songs The fat lady is indeed singing.

Dave, you know better as well. Don't straddle the fuckin fence.

I am not stradling anything. I know there is evidence of some help. I have not heard to the extent that you and TNC "have". And I have not taken up my time to try and unearth the full extent of the deception. I am not happy that Journey chose to deceive it's fans. I am not happy that the band has pushed Steve so hard. Neal has done nothing to support Steve other than give him a paycheck. There was never any support of any Augeri-era music. The band continues to return to it's GH concerts instead of moving forward. I am not surprised that the Chile show was cancelled because I DO believe Steve has had some serious issues. And I AM saddened that the "official" word was Pnuemonia instead of just coming out and saying Steve needed to heal his voice. Hell, look at Aerosmith. They did the right thing. I have become rather detached from Journey music because I have become too involved in watching "behid the scenes". It is sad to me the power of the internet and all it's "information" (or gossip). It has hurt the love of my favorite band. But at the end of the day, Journey remains my favorite band. I can't let all this other BS take away from the music I have loved over the years. And that includes all of the Augeri-era music as well.

I didn't say the internet was ruining the band, I said it was ruining my LOVE of the band. In the past, before the net, I would have been oblivious to all this BS and I would have just known the music, the shows and the interviews. I guess it could be "ignorance is bliss".

Actually, to be honest, I would say TNC spilled it during the "war" between the two of you. And I recall Deano saying he was grateful he was staying out of it.
