OMG, that Foo Fighters rendition of Queen's Tie Your Mother Down was absolutely friggin' AWESOME! Blew the roof off the Mandalay Bay! Brian May joined them on guitar...just unbelieveable! WOW!!
Def Lepppard was good...but I think Elliot's kind of lost it in the voice department....comments?
That tribute song to KISS with Slash, Tommy Lee, Rob Zombie, Ace Frehley...etc, kicked fucking ass too!
What can you say about the Judas Priest? They Rocked!
Queen w/Paul Rodgers...The Show Must Go On...great choice for an opening song.....just incredible!
KISS...way too much pyrotechnics, but then again that's KISS!

The only part I saw was Queen w/Paul and it was incredible. Made me wish I'd watched the entire show. Hopefully they'll replay it a lot.

Is that the same "The Show Must Go On" as Three Dog Night did?
If so....damn! I am sad I don't get VH-1....I would love to see Paul
doing that one.

Mooncrack, let's recap. Your computer sucks and you can't upload videos off youtube, you don't have running water, and you don't get VH1. Dude, wtf?

Got a call when Def Lep was performing that Elliott sounded pretty bad also so I turned the channel. Glad Journey is performing first on the ticket when they are here in July.

I meant no disrespect to the state or the people
of it when I typed California that way.....sorry if it sounded
like that.
I'm just terribly excited.
Dean'o I don't plan on locking lips with ya and I am thinking
the beer stench will over power the ashtray smell anyway.

No. On Innuendo, the CD they recorded just before Freddie died, they recorded a song call "The Show Must Go On". A GREAT song, in fact the whole CD is stellar. But it is rather sad as well, because Freddie knew he was dying when they wrote and recorded it and a lot of the songs are rather prophetic.

I can't wait to wrap my ears around that tune.
I am sure Paul does it well.

I watched the Rock Honor's show ( while changing it to Sci Fi to watch Ghosthunters season finale), and I thought it was great. I do like Queen, Judas Priest, and Def Leppard. I thought Paul Rogers did a great job of singing the songs Freddy made popular. He didn't try to sing them like Freddy, he did his own thing. Judas Priest was awesome live. Love that Harley Bob Halford rode in on. I finally got to hear "You've Got Another Thing Coming" live. Def Leppard is now, to me, showing their age. What was up with that hairstyle that Sav had? It looks like a hairstyle that a woman would have. Jo's voice did sound a bit ragged too, but I enjoyed them playing.
And of course, Kiss had to end the show with a bang.....

Me too.
Paul Rodgers sounds great!
Did Kenny Rogers' plastic surgeon steal Paul's face?

That would ROB Halford!

Sav's hair is funny. But then he was ill a while back, maybe that affected his hair judgement! As for Joe's voice, even on record he sounds NOTHING like himself. But at least on record it sounds good. This is, however, the one big concern I had with the Def Leppard tour. I knew Joe's voice LIVE has not been holding up. What if they resort to tape??? :p

He has some disease or something. I don't recall what it was but he does seem to be dealing with it.

Who was the band that did "Photograph"??

Oh my God...sharp, flat....PICK a key - ANY key
Did you notice that the audience totally "deflated" when they realized that Def Leppard WASN'T coming on stage?

What show was this Nora? They did come out on stage at the Rock Honors last night. They sang one song, that I remember. Joe's voice wasn't that good last nite either.
