To the people I agreed with, I thank you. I did do my homework, and I stand by what I said. It wasn't like i just threw this out there. I spent hours upon hours!
To the Backtalkers who came over.....I still say you are all blinded by whatever, and no, I do not apologize to any of you. You can all eat my ass. I will NEVER forgive you, any of you.
Any other BT'ers, seriously, I mean this..Fuck off. You can't handle the truth.
To every othe rmR poster, please accept my sincerest apolgy. I promised my Girl Sunday night would be my last on this.
Sincerely, Dean
Rockn'deano wrote:Aww, I see the Good ol Qyacktalkers can't just leave it alone, can you?
Rebecca, shut your hole. You have no idea of what you talk of. Rustygreen, you might get this later, when you arrive at the library and use the free computer, but dude, you need to go buy a brain.
Pitman is semi-smart. He learned from his asskicking and has stayed away.
I want Rich Meyers. Thats who I want. One of you Quackers go tell him it's his turn.
heardonthestreet wrote:Everyone will be on the alert, Dean. Perhaps that will be the most that you can achieve with this. The situation will be noted shortly and it will be either denied, accepted, amended, or non-existent. What more can you ask for your efforts?
Rockn'deano wrote:Rebecca, Lula IS NOT involved. That is my point. I am NOT bringing her into discussion. By the way, she is in Modesto on her way to Sonora to see Rolie.
I don't want anyone to leave the board. I do however want people who disagree with me, to do so with fact, not the same ol "Steve is nice" Steve has class" bullshit.
This will be hard for you, but try to think for yourself. No CJ to help. No rah rah's. THINK FOR YOURSELF.
Now go blow Rusty, he needs it.

I’ve got much mail in recent days from people thanking me for the stand taken here in these pages on behalf of Journey.
Yeah, I believe that. Email from the blind followers. It’s a shame that DBoy chooses to use PM’s as a weapon of personal destruction, especially against women while using these pages for an attempt at professional destruction, distraction, and jerk ridicule.
Shall I really post your PM? Hey, when you threaten my life and my daughters' all rules go out the window.A website dedicated to the agenda with unlicensed illegal music can’t be enough; It’s got to continue here without jurisdiction. Where’s the music police, RIAA when needed?
It's NOT illegal to have bootlegs Craigy. EVERYONE here has them and EVERYONE here trades them. I love the high and almighty policing done by you freaks. You might get a firewall DBoy; Did you know you have an open port? Lots of trash on the system. Your IP is in the US, not down under. Andrew can’t protect you.
Yep, I know that. I am still waiting for you to hop a plane and come out here and deal with me. I am not hiding. Camarillo, California. Come get you some.Unlicensed, illegal music is punishable by law.
So is threatening bodily harm via the internet. What isn't punishable? There were no tour health issues in 2005 besides a late appendectomy.
Oh really? What about the pnuemonia issue? Are you saying that was a lie? I know a bunch of Chileans who would love verification by an insider. Hey, if the band can lie about that, how can you say they are telling the truth now?The occasional common cold and flu makes the rounds every year. Anyone who says they know otherwise just can’t see the forest for the trees. JRNY has worked their ass’ off for 8 years in sweltering heat, high humidity, frigid air conditioning, high pressure, and thin air. They’ve spent long days in airports, and cramped quarters.
You make it seem like they are soldiers. For Christs' sake, they are musicians. And get paid really well. No sympathy from me. deal with it.
The band went out there night after night, fought dehydration, fatigue, meet and cheats, yet still being the troopers that they are stepped up to the plate and performed to the highest standards giving 110% to every member of the JRNY family, plus the ticket buying public.
Bullshit. How you fight dehydration? Get some fucking water. i have seen their charter. they get so much bottled water, medicine, soda, beer, et al. Save the dramatics.
Giving 110%? Spare me. They resorted to tape. They also left a show early too IIRC.Stevie Augeri was a trooper too, and forced to change his routine far and above the norm for the good of the band plus longtime fans such as ourselves.
He was? He played guitar for an extra hour a night..Big deal. Then he acted for 2 hours. I mean really acted. It couldn’t have been easy to get stage ready only to play guitar for an hour. Especially, considering he had no guitar tech.
Please. You know why he didn't have a guitar tech? His volume was so low it couldn't be heard anyway. So what if he had a guitar tech? Hell in Irvine, the fuckin thing wasn't even plugged in!He did it, without complaint, adapted, and moved on. Not only did he adapt, he got stronger and stronger.
Amazing what "enhancements" will do, eh?By the second week of the ‘05 tour there were classic songs that many stated were the best versions of those classics ever performed.
Funny how you mention the 2nd week. That is precisely when I have declared them going to tape. Really peculiar.Generations numbers were overwhelmingly received.
Not really Craig. Opening night, they played eight of the songs. By week 2, they were down to 2 SA, 1 Ross, and 1 Jon. Gone Crazy was well received? Dude, the beer lines looked like Disneyland queue lines, they were so long.As much as the set list varied from Summer into Fall it’s impossible to pull off such a technically enhanced feat that is alleged here.
Mo, and this is where you have to listen. I allege that about 8 songs, all lead singer songs were duped. That's quite easy to pull off. BGTY, Escape, Ask the Lonely, Faithfully, AWYWI, DSB, TPIYH, and Separate ways..all lipped. Very easy. It’s only alleged, and the theory is weak at its very core with no factual basis or foundation.
yep, only alleged. Go listen. It's obvious.Nice try on the “ear thingy’s” DBoy. They’re called portable stage monitors. If Kevin had a hand in overlaying anything new into a performance he’d have to wear a set of the “ear thingy’s” too so he could hear the click start back at the soundboard. He doesn’t wear them.
Yeah, I know. So they use stage monitors instead of ear plug ins. Same thing. Elson is the conductor..plain and simple. Hey Craig, call up Kev and tell him to refute this.Don’t let the sour bird brained agenda of one ruin it for you, your children, your spouse, mothers, and fathers. There’s never been a better time to be a JRNY fan.
No better time? Gee, I remember when the band was number one in the world. Selling out stadiums, and multi night shows in every city..New songs on the radio. I remember a time when this kind of conversation NEVER would have ocurred.Generations is phenomenal, and not since Motown was viable has there been a more soulful collection of vocal masterpiece sprinkled on one record.
I liked it when it came out. I am soured on it now. That thing was thrown together in 2 weeks. Hell, Neal didn't even know what songs were on it.The Dallas DVD is on the horizon and promises to be the ultimate for any Journey fan, young or old, and everybody sings! “Let them sing.”
I wouldn't be too sure about this, Craig. IF they release this, and it matches up with Vegas, their toast. My money says no Dallas DVD.Clean this place up, and make it a safe haven for everyone who wants to rejoice in the magic that is Journey. Build a community, not a cult.
I am just trying to bring to light what I think is wrong. Morally wrong. I don't want a cult.No one here has a right to trash JRNY, or Steve Augeri.
Yes they do. I have only trashed Journey lately because of bullshit work ethic. It stinks to high heaven. And when I watch Steve Augeri in the Beacon DVD, acting, faking, and pretending to be emotional and heartfelt, all the while a tape is being played...I was sick. Screw Journey until they get their shit together.Without him, the last 10 years would have been nothing. Just like DBoy’s nothing illegal recordings. So much for that sincere apology huh DBoy? What a real man you are. Remember; Melted and poured.
Hey Mr. Insider, you do know Augeri was going to be replaced, right? You know they were all set to go with another singer, right? The young kid from Vegas. he kid who sounded like Perry. You do know this, right?Stop trying to pour perfume on a pile of shit. Things aren't as rosy as you say they are.
“You can lose yourself along the way finding something new in yesterday.”

Just for the record.
The Chili show was in 2006. If you can't get your facts straight-
I didn't threaten your daughter big man,
but I did crash your theory,
and your smal nads to high heaven; Read it again. Slowly.

But can I ask you something?
Yesterday, on your first post, you called me a liar, denied my claims, and said you were right because you said so.
Now today, you come back with an open mind, and say you will listen to the links.
Can you please explain this?
