Is their Summer tour coming your way? If they come anywhere near me, I will post the reviews from the papers. Maybe if I won some tickets, I'd attend, just to see whose techniques are the most convincing.

Morning HOTS....since your poll asks if the bands are worth
their ticket price can you please tell me what the average
American ticket price is for this event?
I will vote but I want to know what they're going rate is.

Morning Moonbeam!
The last that I looked, the price was between $75 to $80 bucks. Some have said that would probably leave after Journey and others will come late for Def. Sure they will, at that price.

Nashville sits over 17,000. Called the day after tickets went on sale90% sold out. Can't wait, especially since I didn't get to seem them on our wedding anniversary last year (because Kitrania destroyed the place and the coast). But we are looking forward to it this year-ERIC

Thanks HOTS.....Damn that's a lot.
We just paid 53 bucks (Can) to enjoy Great Big Sea
I thought that was a ton of cash.
Holla 80 bucks(Amer) is over a hundred in Canuck fair!
I think Perry would have to be on leads for me to pay
that kinda green.

Eric....Hope you and Wifey have a blast.
If Escape is played, can you please sing out loudly
when this line is sung......
"They Won't Take Me, They Won't Break Meeeeeeeeee"
I love that line.

"Journey was suggested to us, we just kind of thought, 'This is cool.' They've had that longevity and have been there and had the hits. They're a great live band, they've obviously still got a very big following, and we just thought that the two of us together could equal something bigger than the sum of the parts. Ticket sales are reflecting that. They've been amazing.”
"At the end of the day, it's two good bands that can play live, they're real, they do it for the right reasons, and it's genuine, and we honestly believe that fans pick up on that."

Joe Elliot

Brilliant!!

So what? Joe Elliot doesn't know what goes on behind the scenes when Journey is on........ he is possibly in this dressing room..............so how would he know anything?

You may know Pit's intentions, but that does not mean we need to travel down this road still. Let us wait until the shows. So far, reports have been stellar of the UK shows and many people were aware of the controversy. People are watching, and so far, it is looking good.

Maybe andrew will bring the Journey Tour Talk Thread up from the Classic Rock page but Paul UK had a very good review. And I linked to threads with other reviews. Right not, the most negative thing being said is that Jon looks wooden...and I have thought that as well.

NIG,

I haven't said in any of my posts what I have decided on, so for you to say that I am now in the cult, it is wrong..........

I admire Dean for having the guts to put up some evidence to back up what he is saying, and sticking to it. Pit, on the other hand, isn't putting up any evidence to contradict Dean, so, being a Devil's avocate, I am calling Pit out to put something out, some hardcore evidence. not words, to refute Dean's evidence.

So, I am sitting on the fence about it.

That is so cool. The content of your post goes so well with the animated tigers, Clasicrodkldy.

HOTS,

I am not quite getting what you are saying about my tigers (His name is Hobbes), and the content of my post goes so well together. What are you trying to get at?

I meant it in a nice way, girl. The animated cats just seem to punctuate what you wrote. IT'S CUTE!

It's ok, classic. If you choose to believe Dean 100% (I am somewhere between 10-20%), that's fine. I won't abandon you. Just saying that his whole thing has consumed his life, much like a cult. If you admire that, I guess that's your choice. :?

NIG,

What I admire about Dean is that he had the guts to bring this out into the open. He stands by what he believes in and won't back down. That is what I admire.

OK. But do you admire his intolerance of others who don't hear it? :)

Pit refuted everything put out there in the matter. Methodology was heavy handed but he admitted it was in an attempt to fight fire with fire.

What evidence can he bring short of producing a band member here to deny it (and that could happen and some of us would scoff), other than to say like a lot of us have that of the clips of bootlegs of 2 shows (the greek and ontario) out of 50+ dates on the tour don't sound enough alike to be a smoking gun?

Though I'm new to this board I thought I stick my 2cents in anyway, lol. I think a lot of people are very interested in seeing where this rumor goes, though I can't imagine we will ever know the real truth.

If some have their way, this rumor will become public....I just wonder how the band will deal with it.

This rumor is public. It's on various message boards with the link to this forum. I'm pretty sure that the band knows about and read this forum recently.

I'm sure it's gotten back to the band, it remains to be seen just how far this rumor goes. I would imagine that the lawyers are on it as we speek.

If the general public gets wind of this I would think it could open up a rather large can of worms in regards to the alleged use of tapes at live gigs.

Sorry, I didn't know what you meant :)

I really wonder what's going to happen. On a few other boards it was brought up about other bands too.

I still, for the life of me, cannot understand why this is so important to Dean. He only has two or three boots that, to me, don't prove anything. I hope he hasn't bitten off more than he can chew.

I think it's more than 2 or 3 boots, seems people are coming out of the woodwork with boots they are sending him.

Well, the burden of proof is on him. I am sure Augeri sings the songs almost the same way every night. He never has been one to change it up much live.

But remember, sometimes all you have to do is 'suggest' you hear or see something and half the people you talk to will see/hear it, the other half will not.

I've tried to read most of his blog and he seems to be in killer mode. I wish him the best.
