That is good news. I love when Neal is interviewed. He's always so brutally frank and honest.

Hey is this a brand new interview with Journey? Do the fans get to call in & ask questions??? If so, I sure can't wait to ask Neal mine!

Lori

I have been told it IS a new show.

What would your question be Lori?

It's bound to be a bit bittersweet for Neal. Wasn't the last time that Neal was on Rockline when Soul S was starting out?

I think the last time for Neal was actually when Planet US was still in the works.

That will be an interesting show to listen to.
I think they will take calls, but it looks like there is a way to send in questions as well.

I guess these emails go to Bob Coburn and if you mention the show you are interested in,the question might get to Journey.

Should be interesting, but I doubt we will have the pleasure of hearing the answers to the questions we really want to know!

Well, if this doesn't get cancelled, don't look for any questions on the matter to be allowed or discussed.

Hint: Don't tell the screener what you're really going to ask.

I can accept that they would cancel this because they are choosing to not speak on the matter right now and cannot be guaranteed that a question will not slip through, but it's hard to think that it was just coincidence that they cancelled in the heat of all this.
Someone mentioned it was a scheduling conflict. Does anyone know this for sure?

And they'll probably cut you off mid-sentence if you do that.

None given.

i wouldn't think it would be hard to say "ain't so" but i guess it's hard to explain something like this away. i'd feel better if they made a statement.any statment including, kiss my a**. this does not look good as far as i'm concerned.

Yeah, we've already discussed in a few topics here and there that it was canceled. Some people were just saying that it had nothing to do with any of this stuff and was just a coincidence and I was wondering if they new that for sure or not.
I would at least like to hear that they just don't want to talk about it, in any way. To just cancel.......

strange they close the thread having to do with this on BT now that the
show has been cancelled; now would be the time to ask: why are you cancellng the show; wouldnt you think. wonder who is giving these guys advice; cause this seems kind of strange to cancel at this stage of the game.

Or maybe they closed the thread because their tour starts tomorrow (which is why they said they were closing it) and they're done with this subject. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Aw Barb, don't think there is a little Azoff muscle here at work? Cj doesn't make this decision alone, no way. Hell, she doesn't make th decision to allow the thread without an above voice.

Really? I'm not sure in what universe people use cigars as dildos--but I'm not going there!

BACK to the subject at hand...

Now it's being said tthat the show is "pre-recorded"... so that pretty much means NO interaction and NO PHONE CALLS. Hmmmm. Come on Journey, SAY SOMETHING!

I couldn't find anywhere that is said that.. :?:

If this is the case. Sometimes pre-recorded means a re-run, yet I thought someone mentioned that this was a new one.

If this ends up being a new one, but pre-recorded so it's not live and no phone calls, they are better off not even doing it.
Re-running a show is one thing, but the point of Rockline is that it's live and you get to call in.

The point is still that it disappeared when all this started. People have different opinions though on what being silent means or it's purpose.
