Why bring this here? We have been through this and Deano has said he will not continue discussing it here. That is why he started his blog in the first place. This is a cheap shot and shows just what you are trying to achieve...

Ok, cool it folks. You are BOTH well known for what side of the fence you sit on, so any and all posts look very obvious.

Please refrain.

That clip was a cheap shot.

Sorry guys, I'm out for awhile. That was absolutely, totally UNCALLED for. You few are absolute hypocrits and you know who you are. You've posted nothing but distasteful things about Andrew and this website on Deano's blog. You have your agenda's with the band and its as old as Methusala.

I've never seen adults act as immaturely as you few.

This board is over for me. I'm sorry, but its clear that even just after a couple of days of the board re-opening there is no way that the critters that insist on infesting this board can be stopped and its ruined the enjoyment of coming here.

Enough is enough, i've had it.

Don't let 'em win, Paul. They WANT to shut the board down. Just ignore them until Andrew takes care of them.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have said anything. But Deano has been (so far) kind enough to "move on" (sort of) so I thought it was very uncool for PF to post this.

The scary thing is, if one site has 'picked up on this' than more will follow...

Right........ Paul, stay. Your contributions are a good part of this board. She doesn't have a life, other than to disrupt what she cannot control.

28 is correct...It was very uncool, but then again, that's exactly why she did it.

Don't we want to be informed as to how widespread this possible issue is?I know of four other sites and debating the issue is pretty give and take.

PF has been here a long time and always posts interesting articles. Just because you might not like their content, doesn't mean no one else is interested.

The posters who say that they are leaving ,have an agenda in that they are trying to force Andrew into banning someone. You would be back in no time, patting yourself on the back for helping to get someone banned.

It's always your perogative to simply ignore, as many of us have ignored the cheap shot about Perry growing his hair long for a specific reason.

One of you started in on the LS topic in Andrews opening topic.

Four sites doesn't constitute widespread, IMO.

Dabate? What debate. the comments on melodic.net are mostly personal attacks which have completely overshadowed the subject. I find it sad.

Is it coincidence that one of the regular reviewers on melodic.net is not a supporter of the current line up?

Whether it is true or not, this will not end pretty if it goes "mainstream". And if it is not true, then it would be a shame to have such a dark cloud over Journey...

heardonthestreet wrote:PF has been here a long time and always posts interesting articles. Just because you might not like their content, doesn't mean no one else is interested.

I think the responses show otherwise. And why would anyone here be interested in returning to this subject? That article was nothing more than a spot referring people to Deano's blog.

heardonthestreet wrote:The posters who say that they are leaving ,have an agenda in that they are trying to force Andrew into banning someone. You would be back in no time, patting yourself on the back for helping to get someone banned.

I don't see how ONE person who said they are tired of this is going to influence Andrew in any way. Besides, it would be one for one...so who cares? You are only guessing (or would that be surmising) what that one person's intentions are...

heardonthestreet wrote:It's always your perogative to simply ignore, as many of us have ignored the cheap shot about Perry growing his hair long for a specific reason.

Please explain how a comment about Perry's hair has ANY affect on Perry. Especially when the "shot" is directed at the oblivious fans who actually make the statement that Perry is growing his hair out so he must be getting ready to perform again! Now this cheap shot truly could have an affect on Journey (not to mention this board).

heardonthestreet wrote:One of you started in on the LS topic in Andrews opening topic.

Wow, how did you read that into any of those posts? There was nothing about LS in that thread.

Hey, people like livin in the 51st State...State of Denial!

So what if the guy can't sing...He's cool. He don't need to. Maybe he just gets confused when he has go up in front of people or he's scared he'll mix up the words so he just hits play on the tape recorder. What's the big deal. He still gets a fat check at the end of the night. It pays the bills, keeps the wolf from blowin down the house don't it? He can keep his missess in nice dressess and probably bang all the groupies he can find under 60. It ain't bad. Ain't bad at all. No one sings these days anyways. Elvis don't sing and he still makes money right.

Hey if the boys dumps him they can hire me. Neal give me a call Man. I can't sing worth a damn, but hey if folks want to fork over the dosh, some hot dogs and a couple cold beers after, I won't refuse. Just make sure the tape don't rewind while I'm up there. I can keep a secret, bet you can too Bud.

Hey, when they gonna give the singer an air guitar so people can watch tapes and scream he's really playin'? Just make sure it don't have more than one string, no point in gettin the audience confused right? Then again folks can talk about the full sound from the one string guitar. This shit is funny!

Lucky they didn't get my money. Thanx. I like the old stuff anyway.

Seriously though, they don't need no singer, Neal's pretty good. He should do all guitar stuff only and heavy drums. Guitar metal like Anthrax, AC/DC, Priest or Metalica. No singer necessary, No Cain either. He's waaaayyy too soft, send him packing too. Just get Ozzy to sing. He don't sound like Perry or Rolie so no one can say he does and they save a bundle on the sound guy who helps this singer. Ozzy rocks. Who cares. fuck it if he forgets the words, can't remember em or don't know em, the audience expects taht anyways!!! No harm, no foul. Sharon can give the band direction and can tell people to piss off if they don't like it. Journey gets an new sound and I can finally relax with a couple cold Budweizers and hear Neal play guitar like I always new he could. Eveyone's happy then.
