Strange days...

I hope all the dads out there are having a KICK ASS Father's day.

That being said...this is shaping up to be a strange day. Music news is turning into a fiasco...I'm sure NONE of y'all noticed this..lol j/k. But that's not the only strange part. Didn't really realize it was Father's day today till my mom said something like "You think of you father today?". My father died this past October...so it's obviously the 1st Father's day without him.
So to all of you who have lost your dads...My heart goes out to ya and I know how ya feel. Those who haven't...give 'em a call. :-)

Laters,

I know what you mean, my father died 2 years ago, but when he was alive, he lived far away & I rarely got to see him, but we would talk 'every month' on the phone.... so I totally get what you mean.

Thank you, Escape. My dad died in Aug of 1998, but I always take time to stop and remember him on Father's Day....he was a great one! Happy Father's day to everyone else.

Hey Liam (Love your name Sir)
I lost my father just two months before you
in Aug 2005 and yesterday we went to his
brothers for ribs, beer and a family fire.
It was very sad not having him around
to joke and poke fun at us all.
I hope that your day was a good one.
Thanks for sharing with us on the loss
of your father.

Thank you (about my name).
It's going to get weirder in October when I go to PA. for my sister's wedding. (That's where he died. Went to PA last year for her wedding and he died the morning my brother's and I were headed up there. Pretty fucked up, huh.)She's getting married in Philadelphia and dad's buried in Bethlehem. (about 60 miles apart if that). So it'll be my first time to go to the cemetary since the funeral. At least my fiance will be with me this time.

I lost my father many years ago, the pain fades over time but you never
stop missing him everyday.
