I'm posting this here to cover my ass, basically. lol.
This DOES go nicely with my last topic though. lol.
Again, though, sorry to you all for the things I'm posting.

That's not true. From what I hear, it's been from 2 tours back. (Under the Radar tour, I believe.) I COULD be wrong....but, unfortunatly, I doubt it.

Again, like I said on the MR board...I may be p***ed about this, but I'm going to wait until an official word has been spoken. If there's nothing to hide, WHY HIDE? MAKE A COMMENT. And as for the people who say "Journey doesn't owe you anything"... YES they DO. I've been a fan for 26 years, paid my dues on the "concert road" (Over $11,000 since '86,I might add) I basically want an answer either dening or not dening rumors. I DO believe it's true, as sad as it makes me to say (or believe) that.

I was a BIG supporter of the "new" line-up... but this is just irking me. I've spent a lot of money on them. I was exaggerating on the $11,000...has been over $6000 though, NOT COUNTING ALBUMS, which I have all of. Add THOSE in and you get a much higer number for LP,Cassette, CD, DVD Re-buys. But to the average working class person...that's still a lot of money for "luxury" items ...and I feel shafted. I'm trying to wait for an official word, but THAT'S not even looking good right now.IMO.
But I feel I AM owed something. And so is EVERY OTHER FAN who's supported this band. (Past and present).
'Nuff said.

Unfortunatly...I don't see an official word unless the attendance at the shows drops dramatically. And that looks like THAT'S not gonna happen, unless it reaches the casual fan. I can see them saying "Screw the miniscule people on the net...we've got all these people still coming to the shows"
Problem for them is...it's all gonna add up sooner or later. One person suspects..tells another Journey fan...then another...on and on ad nauseum.lol

The thing is...I don't see how they can ride this one out without commenting. Just make a comment...say what you will...at LEAST let the fans like y'all and me know their side. Not saying I'd agree with it or not...just saying SOMETHING needs to be addressed.

What i can not understand is why they have not said a thing about it.Just come out and say whatever. They have to know what is going on here.

Maybe they've all lost their voices. And their fingers.

well steve a is going to have to sing his heart out for the rest of the concert season; and this will not be a pretty thing cause everyone will be watching and listening. he's not going to be able to do that. that's insane. eventually they will have to say something cause even if he's sick with the flu or some illness; it won't be an excuse for not being able to sing.
i hope his voice holds out. he's got himself in a situation. even the most diehard fan is going to be watching his mouth and the mike.

As far as I am concerned he has been singing his Heart out since he joined the band. He has had a tough job since the begining with people
that can;t accept that he is the lead singer and he has surpassed
this challenge and stepped up and done a tremendous job.
I personally will not be looking at his mike or mouth other than to see
him do what he has been doing for years.
Singing and doing it well.

Uh, no he isn't . They are going to tape yet again. Unbelievable.

These guys are unfuckinbelievable. They just don't care. They know this is out there, and yet they are going to tape again!

totally different?

I think I'll just stay home and listen to my '74- '86 boots. As much as I'd love to see Def Leppard....just not worth it to me. Took my tix back (There were 8 for lawn). I know that doesn't mean much to some of you...but it's a LOT of cash for me. Trust me....this hurts more than you know.
