Funny that...

Funny that everyone who said blindly Augeri's voice was NEVER, I repeat NEVER off on any night, that it was always DEAD ON PERFECT; are now saying that his OFF NIGHTS show that he was really singing. Talk about sheep...

Now, this may be true - that he didn't use vocal tracks all the time. However, the ones that up on Deano's site prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the vocals for those nights were THE EXACT SAME.

Dude, this has been beaten to death. Some think they do, some don't. Stop trying to talk people into hearing what you think you hear.

Not all of them. Not on Faithfully Manchester.

The 1st verse (where it's supposedly taped) DOES NOT MATCH the Vegas 2001 DVD. Instead of following the heard, listen for yourself.

Oh, and you wouldn't know this because you haven't been here long but I am NOT one of those superaugerieheadredleatherfullofcraplovers.

I disagree with Deano in the charge that everything is from the DVD. They
play many other songs not contained on that one. It would seem many of
the vocal tracks had been recorded recently.

Not following any herd... I just listened again and according to my download they are the same.

Listen, I have never made any of this personal to anyone, so I would appreciate you not making it personal to me. However, I am a big boy and can take it if you decide to do so.

There are so few on here who can actually talk about stuff and not get bent out of shape.

This will be my last post on the subject until something definite surfaces. Didn't mean to get you in an uproar.

Sorry, if you took it personally. I was trying to make a point that I'm not one of those sheep you mentioned above. Actually, I got slammed over a BT for saying that Augeri had a less that stellar night last year.

We have been talking about this here for a month. Some of us are tired of this subject, and the same few songs from the Greek and Casino Rama keep coming up. Not enough for me, personally, to get upset about, but I do, however, understand that it may upset others.

Anyway, I got the Manchester boot elsewhere and have the 2001 DVD, and that 1st verse is not the same vocal. "Restless Hearts" is sung straight on the Manchester boot, where "Hearts" is sung with an extra note on the end on the 2001 DVD.

Again, didn't mean to make it sound personal, my apologies.

A quick hitter:

It doesn't matter if I said "Greek" or "Toronto" or "Memphis" or "Atlanta" or wherever. I could have lied and said they were from all those places, and would still be correct. If you have a boot from LA, and you want one from Minneapolis, just change the title from Greek to Prior Lake, because it is all identical. Seriously, I don't get excited anymore when I get a new Journey boot. They are all the same.

I have people sending me so much that the post man needs one of the baskets. I have over 30 boots.......all identical.

Have a good day

Not all are identical. Manchester has some differences.

The first verse of Faithfully is different from Vegas 2001.

Fath In The Heartland is different from the Greek.

Feeling That Way is different from the Beacon.

Out Of Harms Way is different from the Generations album.
