Tonight's show at Jones Beach:
Journey = quick set, no encore, lots of empty seats, heard it was better than Camden last night...
Def Leppard = loud, rockin' show, the crowd was totally into them, didn't see an empty seat in the house...
It was the Def Leppard show with Journey, without a doubt.

Well, your story conflicts with a certain biased BT er.
Get this:
.They opened with Faith in the heartland, half way into the song Steve says to the crowd 'Hello New York! Hello New Jersey! Hey Frankie...!!!' And pointed right at him! LMAO!!! LOVE IT!! Everyone was singing along with Journey, even the kids in the DL shirts! Our boys have gone over big with thier fans I am happy to report! The band was amazing tonight & played to a nearly full house, everyone was on their feet. The rain stopped just as the band hit the stage, and they put on one **** of a show I'm told! Again, they said many people left after Journey...sigh..
Journeygal, I believe you. Not this person. She is so far gone it's too late.

Thanks

I just went to check for reviews on Journeys board and a poster said she put her details in the review section but it isn't there so I'm wondering if they screen them before the let them post.

No, Back Talk edit posts? What are you smoking Kitty? They are truthful over there.

Why the band funds that place I have no idea.

The pictures also support the fact that there were MANY empty seats. Most BTers are delusional...they see full seats, smell roses and hear perfect lyrics. No wonder the band thought they could get away with it. And that fat @ss Frank guy is sure an eye sore.

No such thing as a rocking Def Leppard show when they play "Make Love Like a Man". Your review was lifted from an Insynch (oops I mean Def Leppard site)
Yuck!
No Foolin, no Bringing on the Heartbreak. Case closed.
(I have some great Leppard shows but none will be from this tour)

Bullshit.

I did hear the "hey Frankie" from SA...
And, I don't know who left after Journey...
I was in the 10th row and there were plenty of empty seats when Journey was on stage that got filled up once Def Leppard started rocking.

Def Leppard suck cocks this tour. Sorry, I'm only serious.
The X tour was great though with the High and Dry medley.

Please don't insult Frank. At least call him by his new official name, Taco Grande Frank.
And St John, this is MR, you can say ass.
Now we are to believe Journey
wanted to open? Yeah, for what reason?
This is in no way a double headlining tour. Spin it all you want. It could be, with proper drive, PR, management, and a suitable singer......come on guys. Do something. Make something happen. This is becoming sad.

3 posts now up about the show. Post 1..."Steve didn't sing that many of the songs..." Post 2..."The sound quality was horrible...." Post 3..."Is he losing his voice?" And these are the posts they DIDN'T edit. Hmmmmm.

Deen sang four songs & Jon sang his "Every Generation" thingy.

It's really sad for Leppard that a suspect Journey is heavier sounding than the 50 year old boy band wanna bee's who renounce their hard rock past.
Journey sounded like Metaliica compared to Leppard. SAD.
Def Leppard - Play the rock songs. "Make Love Like a Man" is evil. Why is that in the setlist? Not that there is anything wrong with that (Seinfeld reference)

Well if DL sucks cock, does that mean Journey is taking it deep?
Hey you started it.
This tour is a train wreck waiting to derail all over the fucking place.

I posted a pic with empty seats with Journey on stage and got shit for it so whatever. I'm smoking cigarettes Deano, think the menthol is clouding my judgment?

LOL
Leppard was awful. They were great in Baltimore 2 years ago when they played the High & Dry medley. I have evidence. (Ooops)
Hey Journey deserves their lumps, but Leppard isn't getting a free pass either.

Wow...no Open Arms tonight? Gee, only their biggest hit EVER. But Faith in the Heartland and Every Generation, both of which nobody knows (casual fans). Their management just plain sucks.

Kitty, post the link here, or the pic.
Pic I saw was bullshit. Up close showed a couple of rows and still didn't look empty. Had I had my cell cam and turned around you would have seen a mess of people.
Blame Journey for what you want (deservedly) but I will fight on this B.S. topic.
Leppard sucked ass and were no more over than a messed up Journey. Def Leppard are just as screwed up if not more.
Wow...no Open Arms tonight?
No "Foolin or "Bringing on the Heartbreak" Much worse.

Ok Arrival we get the message. I'm not thrilled with their setlist either but you can't say they don't do the sissy songs well.
Deano, just what do you want the fans to do to stop this trainwreck?
I'll go get the pic, be right back.

Fair enough. LOL
I just hate that "Make Love Like A Man" song. Can't see me singing along to that anytime soon. My wife even said that is really stupid.
Make Love Like a Transvestite? WTF - just can't believe they could make room for that pile of shit in their set.
Ok done. Understood.
