Just saw them and they sounded good. Kelli mentioned that they're touring with Journey and asked about Steve Perry. Too funny.

They did sound good. That Ripa chick is a ding-dong, though.

i would say they were completly live as well. as a matter of fact they seemed to go out of their way to show it, extra guitar fills as well as vocals on "pour some sugar on me"

That was my point . I like her ok, but she really stuck her foot in it and Elliot looked very uncomfortable with the situation.

Let's face it, whether they tour together or not, Journey is Def's competition. If I'm doing an interview, I want it to be about me, not someone else.

One only has to see the Ellen show when the guy who won American Idol was on, and all she wanted to do was talk about another contestant on the show.

That's the impression I got from Elliot's reaction to her question. It was like, "This isn't what I'm here to talk about, what am I supposed to say to her? "

I saw that Ellen show. In fact I watched specifically to see what she would say to Taylor when she had been so supportive of Chris both before and after he was voted off.


I really wasn't looking for signs of whether or not they were live, but I didn't see or hear anything to make me think they weren't. I really thought they sounded better than most of the older bands that I've seen in these types of appearances.

Exactly thats why us guys tune in to this show we don't need her to balance our check book..if you kno what i mean !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't hear every word that she said because I just had the kitchen tv on while I was doing some things, but I didn't hear her mention him. I just know that she's been so vocally supportive of Chris that it had to be a little uncomfortable for Taylor. You're right, Chris should have won.
