Lance Armstrong, the one balled super biker was accused three times of steroid abuse. What did Lance do? Lance, being lance, knew he wasn't guilty. Lance got on the horn with ESPN and PUBLICLY refuted any and all charges. Lance is INNOCENT, and refuted clearly ALL charges and is now a cleared name.
Barry Bonds, the once 165 pound wet noodle in Pittsburgh, and now the gigantic headed pariah in Frisco, has been accused of Roids, and dude waffles, delays, and half asses an denial, which NO ONE believes, but dude nonetheless denied, as if to buy him time to break the most hollowed record in sports, the Home run record. Again, very suspect.
Good ole George W Bush. I need to stay focused here, because I can light this fuckwad up and shoot him into Hell if I wanted to. This guy, lies about war, lies about leaks, BUT denies it happened, and he gets re-elected..well, that's what the papers said. At least he lies about his lies, and then strings it out so long Fox News is on another story before the lied one makes any major news.
Journey- They have had their lumps in music planty of times, to be sure. People have taken pot shots at them, and unfairly I might add. Now, a fan calls out their character and Journey clams up faster than Rosie Odonell on an unattended donut. Then they sit, and sit, and sit. People wonder. Sure the wackos defend, probabbly against the Bands wishes. So, we are left to wonder. I already know what ha happened. I have it on record, but I think it is funny how people will fight for a band that really is off the radar. But bands off the radar can make millions and millions touring. maybe this was the plan?
Thoughts?

First I believed this whole lipsynching thing but now I see that it´s only doing more harm than good for the band.
How does it really feel to know that in 10 years people will come up and ask about your favorite band that was accused of lipsynching instead of talking about classic songs?!
All because a person named Deano wanted to be important for a little while, now I don´t care whether it´s true or not - I care about the name Journey and this will only hurt the name if you all continue.
The real fans stay away and talks about the music, would you go to the media with your personal problems with close friends and families? Don´t think so.
Let it stay in the family.
I´m not saying your wrong with these accusations Deano, just saying you´re taking it a bit too far.

Give me a break. This is the same old liberal-speak that's been repeated ad infinitum. Anyway, it belongs on another board.
Journey- They have had their lumps in music planty of times, to be sure. People have taken pot shots at them, and unfairly I might add. It is a bit unnerving that they haven't responded to this accusation. I find the claim that this needs to be handled by management or their legal team or whatever is a cop out. If the band is indeed innocent, why don't they just come out and say so? Now I got an email saying that the Journey web site is going to be down for three days starting this Thursday. The timing for that seems to be a bit questionable, in my opinion.

No kidding geeess man we all love the band but just wanted an honest answer but we aren't the types who like the wool pulled over our eyes ...and when they try to... well we respond to it and not let them just get away with it for who they are..

As far as real news goes, this is barely a blip on the radar, if that. This is more like 15 nanoseconds of fame.

No actually I meant you and your disciples crying and stamping your collective feet started thread after thread post after post demanding the band respond to you/it.
Ya think that's gonna work, or indicate fear if they don't?

Hey knucklehead, think of it this way. IF Journey hadn't lip synced, they stood zero chance of getting caught. Well, they did. Don't bitch at the people who want the truth, bitch at the band for getting caught, or better yet, bitch at them for faking it.

Hey Red,
Don't you know Deano is in his own little world where he actually believes he is 'all powerful' and that people outside of these boards actually know or care about his 'agenda'?!

As for Bush...show me the weapons of mass destruction. Someone. Anyone? Oh wait. He made that up. Oops. Oh well, it's not like it's his kids that are over in Iraq.
Journey...I think Deano's a bit sensationalistic, and I'm not sure I agree with the way he's going about this, but I don't think this can just be dropped and ignored. Not because the mainstream press gives a shit, but because there's still dedicated fans who've continued to support the band over the past 8 years. The band needs to come clean out of responsibility to those fans, not because Deano is on the radio.
It's funny, if they'd just come out and admitted it as soon as these rumors started, and just gave some lame excuse like "these shows were booked months earlier and we felt we had to play them even though our singer has no voice left," it would've been dropped and no one outside of the Journey message board ever would've heard about it. But...it's a little late for that.

They've found at least 500 weapons containing serin and mustard gas. These were weapons which Saddam had claimed were destroyed in compliance with U.N. mandates. Of course, now the libs are saying that they are pre-1991 weapons and are degraded. Funny how the standard changes when these kinds of things are found. Maybe some of you libs would like to store some of these weapons in your garage for a while so you can see how "harmless" they are.

There are plenty of bases in the US where weapons of 'mass destruction' and 'chemical warfare' are stored too..... maybe Bush should take his own country out in that case.... actually he's doing a pretty good job of persuading others to do it for him....

Look, I'll admit that Dubya has screwed up more than I care to count, but it isn't the U.S. that's killing our own people with chemical weapons like Saddam did.
Anyway, this is a topic for another forum. If anyone cares, you can visit the DISCUSSION / DEBATE forum at The Cooler @

That's nothing but a whining place for "conservatives". If you don't agree with the "conservative" philosophy promoted there, don't enter the "debate" forum, cuz CJ will end up kicking you off. The rest of it is no different then BT...since CJ moderates both forums.

"Libs" didn't invent that. Millitary officials were the ones saying that. Liberals are just repeating what they said. I saw a top ranking general on Fox news the other night. Our brave boys were sent to find doomsday devices, not canteens of insecticide. Who the hell are you trying to fool.

CJ doesn't moderate The Cooler anymore and I'm the mod of the DISCUSSION / DEBATE forum and will give much freer reign than what CJ allowed.
As far as the ones who typically caused a lot of trouble, like Bill (yoopr), he's history for reasons other than what he did in that forum. Anyway, you're certainly welcome there if you ever care to show up. I don't agree with you on much but I will say you're usually at least interesting.

Here are some FAIR criticisms of the Bush Admin:
1) Terrible postwar planning, that has resulted in too many unnecessary fatalities. Plus, he didn't accept Rummy's resignation
2) Overly agrressive rhetoric (Bring it on). I know some felt comforted by it...BUT
3) Weak on border control. He thinks the rest of the country should have relations with illegals just like Texans do
Here are some UNFAIR criticisms:
1) Bush lied about the invasion of Iraq. (PROVE IT..we all thought Saddam was a risk, and he did fund HAMAS).
2) Bush's actions or nonactions resulted in the Katrina aftermath. (PLEASE, the local government and stubborn unprepared people were as much if not more at fault. And the levies were ignored by MANY administrations. Kayne West can Fuck off).
3) Bush is a racist (PUH-LEEEZE. Condi and Colin and a pushover to Hispanics)
4) Gas prices are Bush's fault (Yeah..about as much as they are my fault)
5) The debt is Bush's responsibility (The deficit may be, but the debt is not. And budget surpluses only means over-taxation)
FYI...His retirement plan is as good as any....social security is gonzo
