Maybe they'll end up holding a press conference just for tapegaters.
You guys can all go in with press creds clipped to your shirts.
The band will point to or call on you, and you can say your names, like "Steve, NoLipping (or Rockndeano or whomever), Escapetotapeblog.com. Are you guys ever going to address our mountains of evidence?"

Pretty bad when the dj's are asking DL. I don't believe that they don't know but what the hell are they gonna say? Is Joe really that stupid? I doubt it.

Because it couldn't possibly NOT be true!

Some poster on BT once said that the band recieves more offers than you can imagine to go perform live on TV.
They turn them down repeatedly.
I have no doubt why.

As much as you fight with Deano, Joe, you are giving his site a plug, which makes no sense at all.
There are three sides to every story, the "tapegaters" as you say, the hardcore blind people, and the people who just want to know what the hell is going on, just to put it behind us.
Not everyone who wants to know is Deano's buddy. I'll agree ther are hardcore people on both sides. There are also just plain old people like me who've been fans since the 70's, that would simply like a response form the band, either way. Even if it's a lie.

No that's not an excuse for Joe's stupid answer because he said the drummer was singing and the audience can't see that, they need binoculars. First of all he's doing what 4 songs? Then there's the fact that the shows just started and these allegations didn't just start and I doubt that this is the first Joe has heard about it since it is negative publicity for a tour that his band is heavily invested in. He also contradicted himself because when first asled about lipsynching he said they all do it, then when it was put right to him about Journey he came up with a pretty lame answer. Just saying since Journey isn't doing interviews but DL is that issue is gonna be brought up to them so he needs to say something intelligent at least. They've only played a few shows so far but now that it's on record what's he gonna say down the road? Keep feigning ignorance? If they can't get a comment from Journey they will continue to ask DL everytime they do an interview.

Joe isn't going to admit to Journey doing anything wrong, because then what happens? He's making plenty of money I'm sure being on tour with them. It doens't benefit him to say something "bad" about Journey. At least not until after the tour is over.

Well sure Whocares, that's what I meant in my earlier post when I said what's he gonna say? I just meant that he's gonna have to come up with something better as time goes on if this doesn't go away.

Ok...I am a Def Leppard fan ...I went to Jones last night.
The entrance was so congested that most people missed the first 20 minutes of Journey. Given that .... there were MANY more empty seats for Journey then Leppard...period.
Next, Steve Augeri...or whatever his name was...kept walking off the stage when the drummer started to sing...it was really weird..unless you knew the drummer was signing it looked like lip synching..it obviously wasnt but it was hard to tell with the singer running off the stage every 30 secs.
Got this from the 'Crowd Reports Only' thread and it has been mentioned on the DL board.

I agree, I don't envy him for even being in this situation. I'd probably just say, no comment not my band... But I don't see Joe saying that. It'll probably go away someday, but not before the end of this tour, huh?

Bingo. Notice Sammy & Michael Anthony were happy as clams until the 2004 VH tour was over.
They soon let it fly.
