What Did Neal Schon Say?

Postby Journey/Survivor » Mon Jul 03, 2006 12:50 pm

I have heard that several years ago Neal Schon supposedly said something to many of Steve Perry's biggest supporters that was considered to be an insult or something along those lines over on the Back Talk forums. I had never been on the Back Talk forums at that time, so can someone please tell me what it was that Schon said?

I certainly wouldn't call my question "asking for help!!"

Not to mention that perhaps there are some members on this site that are on the same side of the fence as me.

Now why would you bring that up right now?!!! At the time I recall saying that if I'd been told off by Neal Schon I'd print it out and frame it. I'm not getting into the rest of it with the way this board is going lately--bound to stir something up and we have enough cooking right now.

I ask a simple question to something that I have never known the answer to and I get complaints.

Sorry, I didn't mean it as a complaint, just bad timing.

I didn't think that it was that big a deal. I believe that he told someone who was putting him down to, "Get a Life." I seem to recall Perry saying that to an interviewer who asked him something about what some fans were saying about him. I believe he said that they should get a life.

Good advice to people obsessed with tapegate.

IIRC it was "You weren't there, Monker understands this better than most, you need a nice massage and an adult beverage"
