In Canada our Holiday was on the 1st of July.

Yes it is called independence day (ironic considering what the Prez is doing to others).

Usually it's about BBQ's and extremely hot weather in the midwest. Mostly it's abotu beer drinking and having a good time without thinking about the independence part.

Yeah, Happy Independence Day you guys!

I was in Daytona Florida some years ago on the 4th July some years ago and partyed way too hard! We even had some top entertainment on the beach too in the shape of Survivor! Had a great time!

My mother is from England and my father was sent to the states from Poland as a child to survive the holocaust. He was in the U.S. military for over 30 years and had been in several wars (God rest his soul). My mother, at 76 years old, is one of the most eloquent, sophisticated and classiest women I have ever met in my life time. My father was the light of my eyes.

Neither my mother nor my father ever spoke badly of anyone. Nor did they smell, nor did they have chicklets for teeth.
