I would imagine that they're gonna throw a Soul SirkUS song in there somewhere since there are 3 members there now.
Should prove interesting either way. Can't wait to hear this :-)

They never added a Tall Stories song...
I doubt you will see anything like that until the band figures out what is going to happen. If Steve cannot come back will theycontinue on with JSS? Most likely, but who's to say JSS wants to devote that much of his time to Journey? IF JSS stays in Journey, then I am sure you will see some stuff creep in, but only on their headline shows.

Neal had "No More Lies" so that is why Perry got his stuff.

I think JSS is gonna rip into alot of the moodier, stormier pieces (in between singing the dirty dozen, of course).
I'm talking about "Edge of the Blade" "Rubicon" "Troubled Child" "Message of Love" - stuff like that.
Stuff with a little bite and perhaps a little angst to them.

Really?Wasn't it the Frontiers Tour?I remember on Frontiers & Beyond, when Neal got hit in the head with that bottle, they played "No More Lies".

No, it was the Frontiers tour. The "No More Bottles" incident was captured (no pun intended) on the "Frontiers and Beyond" video. "No More Lies" was in pretty good MTV rotation at that time. But yes, you're correct that Perry started putting his solo songs in the set on the ROR tour, after Neal did it first. Don't forget that Neal had the Schon/Hammer and HSAS stuff all out at the same time when Journey was arguably at their peak, so his yen for juggling a bunch of projects at once is nothing new....and at quite the detriment to the band, according to interviews with Herbie.

I just can't wait to hear "Edge Of The Blade" and "Chain Reaction" sung by JSS. I think he'll add one hell of an edge to them. Or anything off the 2nd side of Frontiers. Maybe even "One More" from TBF.
JOURNEY....KEEP EDGE OF THE BLADE IN FOR HOUSTON THIS TIME DAMNIT.lol.

Geez, that's such an obvious point but one I completely overlooked. It really is essentially Soul SirkUS plus keyboards now, isn't it? Kinda like when I first got word of Bad English forming. It was like, is this Journey or The Babys, because it could've easily been construed as one or the other.

My guess is that the set list is going to change radically, besides the Dirty Dozen, of course. If Neal wanted to rock, he's certainly got the means to do it now. I would love to see them drop "Every Generation". Easily one of the weakest tracks on the CD, in my opinion. Much as I love Jonathan's work, that song doesn't do it for me. Bring on the rawk!!!

With the set limited as it is, I really doubt we'll be hearing any Sirkus tunes.
That was a separate project and should probably remain that way.
