I think it would be like giving your first speech in front of your school classmates in Junior high... or your first speech in front of an organization of 1000 people!!! What A RUSH JSS must be feeling this morning--- at this time of the day my stomach would be all in knots... ill like conditions and wondering if I made the right choice....hands sweaty... maybe not eat all day!! etc----

JSS has been there before, I bet it's more excited/stoked than nervous...ok a little nervous.

I'm sure the rehearsals went well, now it's time.

if I were in his shoes I'd be worried - his feet are alot bigger than mine and I'd probably fall over trying to walk
Nah - Jeff will be fine, trust me.

Jeff's been doing this for 25 years - He's got it down! He'll probably have to keep a check on that adrenaline though!

Just for the fun of it,check out Jeff's horoscope for today!
He's was born on the 4th of November,so that makes him a Scorpio.

Scorpio
When it comes to tough situations, attitude is everything. Thinking in doomsday scenarios usually creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. Put that chin up -- now put it up even higher. Things will go your way very soon.

Another source says:
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): You will be sensitive, emotional and in the mood for love. The response you get if you don't hold back will be positive. Put your creative ability to the test and you will come up with something that works for you.

All two days of them.

I'm just wondering if they're going to try to change keys of any of the songs...I'm heading up to Milwaukee for Toto and Cheap Trick this weekend but I'll be very curious to hear the bootlegs come Monday (assuming any are out by then)

Well, if the question is about nerves, I think he'll do fine...If it's about technical perfection, then yes, it'll be a bit more time than they've had at this point to get the 'ol machine humming the way it should be.

He's had more than 2 days to practise, of course he has! He's probably been on stand-by or alert or whatever you want to call it for a little while, so he'll have been working on the songs he'll need to do long before this week.

If he really has had to come in with only two days notice, then he has even more respect from me.

I should think he will be more excited than nervous. (Steve A however probably feels nauseous, poor guy)
The old adrenalin will be pumping!

I wish him luck.
Hope he remembers all the lyrics, and hits the notes without having to strain and most of all, just ENJOYS himself.

Soul Sirkus rehearsals I think were 3 days, and they went out and smoked it.

This is a shorter set, with songs JSS has sang all his life.

Hmmmmm.... He's a Scorpio? I may have to change my mind about him just a little as I am one too. I just hope he sounds like "Journey" and can't wait to find out.
