By far the best sounding Journey show I have seen in a long time. Last night was my 20th Journey show since ‘98 and at first I thought the sound guy’s did a heck of a job. But, I then quicklyfigured out it’s not the sound guy’s at all. Jeff’s voice projects through the music and shines with serious power. Those worried that he would be too hard or could not sing these songs with the flair they require are wrong. This guy’s voice came through loud and clear not muddy as in the past. JSS was full of energy and was running around the stage as if it were his!!!! I could see an instant connection the way Neal and Jeff interacted, it’s like there was a total new energy. Don’t get me wrong I love SA as much as anyone else and I wish him well with his illness. JOURNEY HAS A NEW LEAD SINGER AND HIS NAME IS JEFF SCOTT SOTO.

Well, I haven't heard him yet but he definitely improves the appearance of the band. Very attractive man.

Not surprised one bit. Staying true to who he is. Those are probrably his nice jeans. Heck, I was also expecting just a white tank top to go along with that.
Can't wait to hear this guy sing Journey songs. JSS is great, amazing and very versatile.

Hell yeah. Let's get back to the music and not how someone looks or how hot they look. With Jeff it's all about the music.
This is going to be good for Journey. They should have done something like this in the first place, instead of finding someone so silmiliar. Styx found someone completely different. Difference is that Jeff can sing and to me, Lawrence cannot.

I'm certainly not one for a heavy-handed moderator but I think you're right. I'm not saying Rockn'deano should be banned but I would certainly delete lots of that crap.

or perhaps he doesnt feel he needs to "dress up" - he's rock n roll singer - not a bank clerk on a night out at the local wine bar. He doesnt have to impress anyone with his attire, he's there to sing and entertain. And he does a damn good job of it everytime he's out on stage. As does Augeri by the way (before his voice problem)

Perry looked like a dish rag on his solo tour with the clothes he wore. Jeff looks much better in comparison. Thanks for the photos!
