here's Deen singing Patiently

A little pitchy, but still pretty special.

After hearing Deen sing, maybe Steve A. can learn the drums.

Why it's Randy and Paula stepping up to critique :D

(Sorry .. I couldn't resist it .. you know they invented the word "pitchy".)

Okay, I got this .. thank you very much. Very nice version. It's nowhere near as good as Perry at his best doing it ... and this is one where Deen doesn't sound like Perry at all actually. I just listened to one of Perry's live versions right after Deen's for comparison. But it's still a beautiful job.

I still wish I had live versions of Mother, Father and Suzanne by Deen.

That was great to hear Deen's voice on the song! Sounded like he was putting in no effort to hit the highs. Very nice.

Thanks for sharing the mp3.

Actually, it sounds kind of like someone not far from the video camera is joining Deen in the singing and whoever it is should SHUT UP! :) Really sounds like two people in parts.

Deen's got a great voice and playing drums at the same time while singing lead (not just backup) is not easy!
