Now that Jimi is out of Survivor, could he be a candidate for the new singer for Journey? I say yes, and a strong one at that.

Naaa, I think Soto has a lesser case of lead singer's disease than Jamison. Journey's singer has to get along with Neal and that can't be an easy task.

What's the story on the split between Jimi and Survivor? If it was the band's choice it's seem a little like slitting their own throat, so to speak.

Speaking of getting along with Neal, wasn't it said on here a few months ago that there was some kind of friction between Jeff and Neal over the SS breakup?

Its Perry Time or time to go sit and watch TV for JRNY

There is nothing left
Soto is terrible in Journey he is better off doing Queen covers.
Its a shame people just follow along no matter what a band does,
My Honest O of course

MMMmmmmm....this seems to be more of a case of Frankie Sullivan contracting Frankie Sullivan disease again than JJ.

If having LSD means drawing a line in the sand and telling Sullivan to go pound it, than I guess Jamison does have Lead Singer Disease. Down in the Survivor forum there is a telling blurb about some remarks Jimi recently made about this.

You have Reach, don't you NIG? I think he sounds perfectly fine, very good in a lot of places. Fire Makes Steel is a terrific vocal. Bickler always struck me as more Journeyesque than JJ, though.

I remeber the first time I heard The Search is Over I thought it was Journey and had to peel my ears to figure it wasn't.
I think JJ has got a fantastic voice and would love to see him in a line up of singers if Journey ever signed a new one.
