Singing and pets

Just a humorous story to share...

Whenever I sing, it drives my cat crazy. I don't know if it's the volume, pitch, or what but he goes nuts whenever I sing at home. Maybe it's just because I sound bad?

Anyway, it really seems to bother him whenever I sing "Beyond the Realms of Death" by Judas Priest. I do have a lot of volume, so maybe that's it.

Anyone else have any humorous pet stories?

I had a cat..Suki... for 16 yrs.... wonderful animal..great companion..... had to have her put down a couple weeks ago... she got quite sick...had 2 ops... but didnt recover..... in the end had to make the heart breaking decision.... both me n my wife Joann stayed with her whilst she received the fatal injection..and both cried "buckets"

...sorry guys...that wasnt a humorous story at all was it..... I guess I just wanted to kill this pointless thread!!!

#Now can we get back to "Journey" please !!!!!!!!

u have to wing yourself of the high pitch choices around ur pets and spouse,, go way back to yesteryear,,, try some bing or dean martin,, get some eddie cantor and put ur pet in the car , one arm out the window and sway a bit,, pets hate metal!! and high voices ... even like perry!!

Don't take on the likeness of Sir Paul's occasional snobbery
please....your such a nice gent.
Sorry that you lost your beloved pet, think you and the wife will
ever get another?

I "adopted" two street dogs, Lynard and Skynard, and they groached off my leftovers for two weeks. They bolted when I threw on Toto's new CD. Never saw them again./

I guess they hated Toto.

Sometimes, I creep up on my cat, while I'm singing along with the radio or CD....I get right in her face - we're eye-to-eye...

...and her eyes just BUG OUT - like "" - while she moves away from me, pushing herself back....with an "Oh-God-PLEASE-make-it-STOP!!" look on her face....poor thing...heehee...

Had a little mistery-breed doggie at the time Europe's "The Final Countdown" was a major hit.Everytime he heard that intro,he'd start howling like a wolf...But being such a tiny thing,he had a squeaky bark and was hilarious...
He wouldn't stop until the intro was over...Poor thing.

I wish I'd still have him.I would test Shakira on him.

My current pets are weird. They don't give squat about music.Only food.

Our dog would hide behind the TV set and tremble whenever Mariah Carey came on the radio. She HATED Mimi. I don't blame her. Too bad there was only enough room back there for one of us...

Our old cat didn't like harmonicas. When I would play, she'd stalk right up in my face, making that weird drawn-out cat howl, then bite me until I stopped. I think that's why I never got any better at it.

I had a cocker spaniel in high school who would go bananas every time I would hum the theme song to The Jeffersons - The mellow one that played at the end of the show. That dog just loved The Jeffersons!

My dog doesn't mind but for some reason my children are averse to my singing.

It is so cool. My sisters Schnauzer would sit next to her and sing along with her every time. Just lift his head and harmonize. She had lots of dogs but Max was the only one who would do this.
