What would your thoughts be on Journey hiring Rob Thomas to be their new front man should Augeri not be able to continue and JSS decides to keep doing his own thing. I think an established artist like Thomas who is both young AND talented could put them back to mega-stardom fast. He seems like he'd be a great fit to me. Likeable too. It's just speculation, so what would your thoughts be IF it did happen. I, for one, would be amped big time.

I don't see Rob Thomas being in the band.We need to see where it is going to go with JSS frist.But if he did not want to be there. Then i am not sure being just let the band go and this be there last tour.

Frist off i have agreed with some of the things you have said in the passed.But you are so far out there Deano ....Rob Thomas is a very good singer and i love his music.

Neal will never have anyone who is really good front the band. He's loving it now when reviews state that the vocalist had problems but the lead guitar really rocked.

Thanks for agreeing with me in the past. You agreed because I was right. Rob Thomas may be a fine singer, but he is not even remotely a possibility for this job. I have a better chance at become the next Secretary of State than he does becoming Journey lead singer.

They're never gonna be back to "mega-stardom", with or without Rob Thomas. There's no way they'll go with anyone "famous" or fully established on his own (not that Jss isn't semi-established already).That would cost money.

First of all asshole, a simple I disagree would have done. Second, he has been a very successful artist for some time. In fact, relative to today's music scene, he's one of the few white males who's enjoyed success with good lyrics and sound music. As for your "pussified guy" and "gayest idea" statements, Freddie Mercury was as feminine and openly gay as anyone and that dude could sing his ass off. Who says DL blows Journey off the stage? I don't think they are. I think Journey can hold their own against DL, and this with basically no stage, limited lighting and a new singer.
