Barnes and Barnes is in the video too. You just have to really look to find them.

I have known who they are for about 4-5 years. I had bought some Dr. Demento novely cd's, because I like an odd song or 10......

Did you know that Steve P. sang on a few songs with them ( and no, they weren't novelty songs ! ) :?:

Now, I am off to Image because my night meds make me loopy.

Nice topic :)

Best bands of the 80s: Journey (of course), Def Leppard, Eurythmics, Toto, Genesis, Foreigner

Worst bands: Flock of Seaguls (I mean come on :? ), Culture Club, Bros (they sucked!!), NKOTB (icchhh..) and Cheap Trick (they are just too weird)

Absolutely the worst song from the 80s has to be Boys, Boys, Boys by Sabrina, remember her?

I wish we could relive the 80s! :D IMO,there will never be so much creativity in music ever again!
I still love that era with a passion, although I remember there was a lot of crappy music also...

C.C.Catch comes into my mind ( can I borrow this for a second,Angie?) Image
This girl was a nightmare!Constantly out of tune, meowing the lyrics, making little squeaky noises at the end of every verse...
Never heard such an atrocity in my life and hope she rots in Singer's Hell.
Hated all her songs.

Other horrendous tunes:
"Putting On The Ritz" by Taco.
"Words" by F.R.David - totally gay
anything by Frankie Goes to Hollywood
"Ring My Bell" - Anita Ward

Yuck.

Thank God for Van Halen's "Jump" -- one of the best songs of the 80's and all times IMO
I also loved Howard Jones for some reason,he had good melody. And I remember enjoying that one song of Limahl "Never Ending Story"!
But I was listening to rock bands all the time.My faves:Bon Jovi,Toto,VH,Bad Company,Foreigner,Grand Funk,Heart,INXS,then Bryan Adams,Joe Satriani,Starship....

Sigh.Those were the days...
