In another thread,Nora posted about SP being spotted at the Knitting Factory in LA last week.

On the School Of Rock Forums, someone posted a pic and a few thoughts on this.

" Great start to the tour - kids opened up very strong. Great version of "Time" to open the show (Tim Hidalgo very strong on vocals and the Gilmour lead!), then a great "Pictures of a City" to follow. Steve Perry from Journey was in attendance and seemed to be greatly enjoying the show, especially when they whipped out a couple of Journey songs at the end for him. Carolyn Pagnotta and Courtney Cox stole the show on "Don't Stop Believing".

I think SP looks great.Getting in shape,hm? 8)

Love the t-shirt logo..."No scatting".

I've been saying it for some time, and I'll repeat it. He's getting in vocal shape for one last hurrah. Whether or not that includes Journey will depend on how he feels about his voice. At the VERY least, a solo project is imminent. Copy and paste this, save it or whatever. If I'm wrong by, say Spring of 2007 (about 9 months) you can all throw it in my face. I would guess we'll hear something well before then though.

I wouldn't say he looks hot, for fucks sake, he looks like he walked off a Montana reservation and pounded a 12 pak of Hamms. Perry looks bloated. But hey, who gives a shit? I love the guys voice.

I think you'll definetely see something before S2007 too.

Steve looks GREAT!!

I highly doubt he would ever sing with Journey again, but it is "possible" that he could be planning a solo project, or maybe sing with another artist again, I'd be very happy either way!!! :D

Aw, Cleveland steamers...Nice. Speaking of that shithole, Cleveland, anyone ever visit the "Flats?" I got a hummer there once, and had to run for my life when three black dudes tried to roll me. Ever see a 6'3" slow white dude out run three black guys? Well, trust me, it did happen once in Cleveland, OH.

If you want to know what "scatting" is, listen to Ella Fitzgerald.

Why were you getting a hummer from three black dudes?
