While downloading many boots today, an Abraxas Pool boot was put up over at Guitars101. If you like Abraxas Pool, then I say to get over there and get that boot before it is downloaded too many times !

"Here is a pretty cool boot from my own personal collection. For those that don't know who Abraxas Pool is it features the original members of the Santana band of the late sixties. It features original vocalist Gregg Rolie, drummer Michael Shrieve, guitarist Neal Schon, Michael Carabello on congas, Jose "Chepito" Areas on timbales and Alphonso Johnson on bass.
Carlos Santana declined to participate in this reunion/tour but I think Neal Schon was a more than capable fill in for Carlos (Just my humble opinion) Santana/Journey fanatics should add this one to their collection if they don't already have this one especially if you're a fan of Neal or Gregg. Casual listeners of fusion/latin/rock music should also get a kick out of this. Very, very good quality. If vocals were coming out a tad more stronger I'd add the (+) as everything else comes out crystal clear. Enjoy!

I have listened to a few of the songs, and I am glad that I downloaded it.

I've downloaded the Abraxas Pool boot but haven't listened yet.

Hi. My name is jrnyman28, and I am a boot-a-holic.

I feel ya CRL. When I found Guitars101 and a few other sites I went NUTS. While I was off work for 3 days (bereavement) I burned 100 CDr's of stuff I have downloaded lately. Now I just need to find the time to listen to it all!

LOLOL 28 ! Yeah, that site is addicting ! But I have found stuff there that I wouldn't of known about. Sometime today, I will have to burn the boots to cd.
