Is it really the fans' business? If she got fired I can't see why Journey would want to explain it on the forum. She was just a moderator...
As much as I hate that forum she was pretty revered there. There's even a thread about her still going. They need to get rid of Caroline. She is a #$#$ %$# ^&**%$ $%#@ **& I'll be nice Andrew.

Journeycat was a key Moderator on BT and a great friend to many, many fans of the band and well as being very well liked by the band members themselves. She often acted as the voice of the fans to Journey's management. Why she left is a private matter - it may have involved personality clashes with certain people, but to her great credit she has not made an issue of it and has kept the matter very private. I believe Cat is still around and is still in touch with one or two close friends on BT, but she no longer posts on BT.
As to Carolyn (CJ) who took over the main responsibilities from Cat, I know she's not popular with one or two people here, but I think she has done a great job in very trying circumstances. The Mods get shedloads of crap to deal with from people intent on pushing rules to the limits and beyond, both on the forum itself and outside of it. While they don't always get every decision right, every decision they do make is in the best interests of the forum and the majority of people that post there, while maintaining its presence as a promotional tool for the band. Unlike MR, BT is a family oriented forum and gets a significant number of youngsters viewing - some of them would be absolutely traumatised if the language and vitriol over there matched what is commonplace here.
Also, bear in mind that while CJ may be interpreting the rules on BT, she hasn't set them. They are (I believe) dictated by Journey's management.
