From a user of the Journey forum, but one that until now caused no trouble whatsoever, or previously complained!

And I thought things were going pretty smoothly in here this week?? :shock:

What is your intention with these forums really?What kind of moderator are you that let all kinds of crap just pass.
Is this some sort of gladiator show for your own amusement??There are certain members here that have gotten away with far too much name calling and other shit.You should know who,And i believe it has going on for years.you can't really call it a discussion forum when the rules seems to be.....The biggest asshole and the most foul mouthed prick wins......So feel free to delete my account here in a big hurry,Because i don't appreciate you or your forum very much.And i don't wanna be a member of a forum that allows bullying,namecalling and all kinds of rude and imature behaviour....I don't think this's supposed to be a playground for big mouthed idiots and psycos......or is it??

The wording of their complaint is pretty much as forceful and foul as those they're complaining about. And twice as belligerent. Personally, I'd sooner see them (whoever they are) banned than the supposed "culprits". I think it's fun here.

When attacked either blaze back or don't and ignore. 'Drew has said umpteen times he does not have the time to constantly mod and delete, he expects and honors system... but to think that he endorses the shit is insane.
The day-to-day ops of the site must intrude from time to time peeps.

The problem is, that person is right. If you come on here in support of an Augeri led Journey, you are going to be trashed and insulted by Dean and a few others. If you 'battle' back in the same manner, YOU are probably going to be banned and the 'fucktards' who continue the cycle are going to stay....because THAT is the way it is here nowadays.

It doesn't suprised at all that people get frustrated and lash out like that. What should you expect when that is how things are run. The same thing happens at BT.

I've addressed this too and it goes IGNORED, I think people are afraid of Hamburger man and Jaba-Hut man, BUT why? its the internet, they can't hurt you through the wires and they are worthless commentators...just putting talented people down because they are jealous or insecure or bored or perverted or something?????? I've even asked nicely for them to stop and nothing works, they just like talking trash about everyone and anyone. I say boot 'em off if they can't contribute in a more classy way because this space is for JOURNEY, if you are not a JOURNEY fan then why be on here? go start a myspace account and bash there all you want. I can only imagine what u get in PMs Andrew. I'm glad u don't let them bother u usually. Being a moderator, site admin, forum owner...never a fun job. IMHO this is a gr8 forum. And yes it is a true forum. People here are allowed to have opinions & discuss them. On other forums u are only allowed to have one view. This is probably not the rite forum for young kids but it's not presented as such. There seems to be a pretty even mix here of those who are fans of Augeri, those who are fans of Perry, and those who are fans of JSS. Some people cross over & like 2/3 or 3/3 of the singers. There's some slagging & taking the piss that goes on sure. A thin-skinned person might take offense. But for the most part, people here are really nice & a whole lot of fun. Somehow for the most part everyone manages to get along & most especially when sharing some music. Then even those that have yelled at each other in the past become friends.

I thought it was a pretty slow week here on the Journey forum. I must have missed something. The only thing I saw that could be considered belligerent was Deano calling treetopovskaya a bitch. I think justice was served on that one when Deano freely admited to being....I mean having.... a "puss" as he called it.

I think the majority of people on here do a good job of defending themselves, and reading the witty comebacks to some of Deano's outrageous posts are some of the most entertaining stuff to read on the whole forum.

It's not true, at least the part about being banned. I can count the number of people who have been banned from here on one hand.

I am an Augeri supporter, and sure I caught shit from certain people. Some I respect, some I don't. But in the end, it's just a message board. If it's not fun, then find something that is.

True. I still think there needs to be some enforcement of the rules. Andrew has stated several times that anyone engaging in overt personal attacks will be banned but it hasn't happened. Now, if he isn't going to ban them, he could just say that and I think we would all understand.

I see it too. I was going to respond but Monker already stated "some" obvious points. The fact of the matter is, this happens at ALOT of forums. I got no problem with Andrew, though, he's in a tough position - banning people isn't exactly a fun thing, its the last thing you want to do. And for the love of god, you do not bann your mates, it's that simple! - I wouldn't.

So its a catch 22, and its also just a forum at the end of the day... bothers me little. It is a dog eat dog world today, and if you can't stick up for yourself or handle yourself? - well who is going to do it for you?...

That definition is addressed by the administrator or the moderator and not by the posters. How ever Andrew addresses that variable is entirely up to him. Andrew,nothin against monker or anyone else but the only reason i started coming to this board is because of some of that stink flavor thats here(Deano). some of his stuff is just hilarious and without it this place could be quite boring for the most part and no i dont know him (stinky)at all but it is funny to see him(pile) get so many 30-50 yr olds as pissed off as he does what a character(load) and these people just feed into it they are like putty in his(feces) hands
