List 'em here.
My first one is Destiny, off of Dream After Dream. I was listening to this in the car today for the first time in a looooong time. What a cool song. Love how it goes from nice and slow, Perry laying out the story, then the band takes off. A lot of emotion on that album.

I love the sound of Perry's voice on that album, probably more than any other Journey album, with the possible exception of "Frontiers". Actually, the song "Daydream" sounds like it would have fit pretty well on "Dream After Dream".

Destiny is one of my favorites!
La Do Da is one, just for that long drawn-out vocal at the end of the chorus. La do Daaah do Daaaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....
Also Rubicon comes to mind.

Ah, yes. That's my nominee as well as being my favorite Journey song anyway.

Love Destiny, couldn't believe that it was Journey the first time I heard it.
Not sure it this one counts as under rated, but I've always loved Sweet and Simple

Yeah, that is a great tune. Patiently, S&S, Daydream... the great Journey ballads that were not overplayed and ruined forever. Thank God!

I listen to Destiny atleast once a week. One of my all time favorites.
Also Patiently live Perry, though it was a treat to see Deen sing it last year.
Look Into The Future is highly underrated.

As a whole, I think Captured is one of the all time great live cd's ....
People talk about Frampton Comes Alive, Alive, by Kiss as classics, but Captured is right up there for me.....the live version of Just The Same Way is awesome.

Hi All,
First post here, although I've been lurking for awhile. Thought this would be a good place to "get my feet wet".
Two songs come to mind: "Mother, Father", which I think comes as close to an "epic" song as anything they've recorded.
"Easy to Fall" - I know some don't like this one, but I think it's incredicble for the smooth, almost effortless melody. Almost a throw back to the Departure days.

Yeah, it was at The Beacon 11/23/05. One of the highlights of the evening.

Cool...Thanks. I like to include the date and location in the ID3 tag, if at all possible.

Sorry, NYC.
Journey did two nights there last year. I went to both, Neal was on fire the first night, I wish I had audio from that show.

Well..everyone knows my feelings on Edge Of The Blade..(if you don't you just don't pay attention to me at all..LOL)
But I'd have to say "Troubled Child" and "People And Places".
Have to throw an instrumental in here too...."When The Love Has Gone". AWESOME guitar work from Neal.

Frontiers, Rubicon both come to mind. More recently - Remember Me and Kiss Me Softly (Please don't throw things DIRECTLY at my head!)

Precious Time is the most under rated song to me. Maybe that's because I'm going through a divorce now ... may be not.

Anyhow, that song rocks.

Thanks journeygal! When I first heard I liked to call it the "dirty song" because he sings so low and it really does sound like something between lovers.

Ok. Won't get too OT here. Back to the topic, I am sure there are others I will think of later and go "DOH!", but agree with most of what I've seen on the thread.
