Does anyone have bootlegs from the following years: 1975, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1987.
Did the boys even play any gigs those years? I know they stopped touring in very early 1987 but I'm not sure if they toured the other years. Those are the only years that I can tell that I don't have any boots from.

Of the years you listed, Journey only toured in 1982. The other years they did not. In 1987 they did a few gigs in Jan. and a couple in Feb for the ROR tour and then that was it.

They didn't do any touring in '75 in support of the debut? I have the Record Plant gig from '74 and even a copy of "Topaz" performed at Winterland in '73.

I don't believe in Bootlegs. As ace has so eloquently said, it is against RIAA practice.

1982 and 1987 boots do exist, though there aren't too many.....check this place out:
http://www.angelfire.com/music5/rubicon ... abase.html
This place has probably 90-95% of everything out there audio boot wise up until the Generations tour. I actually was helping one of the guys that came up with the whole "Rubicon Reproductions" project really early on whichs seems to have kinda stalled awhile ago. Me and him used to trade quite a bit YEARS ago. Other than probably a few listed on this site (not really enough time to sit and compare), I have pretty much everything listed there, plus a couple that aren't........its a great site, lots of cool ass artwork for alot of the boots too......
Rock on,
Eric

Hate to say where I was then. Yea, I remember that show vividly. My sister and I saw them in Dallas and then San Antonio (we got out of town just before TS Allison). When we got home Sunday, we found out the show had been cancelled. We also saw them again in Dallas for the 9/11 Benefit.

That site lists them, but no, it doesn't have any links. Sorry about that, re-reading what I wrote makes that just about clear as mud lol......Its just there for information off all that is out there and for some artwork. Initially there was a message board that went with it where trades could be set up, but I don't think it's around anymore......
Rock on,
