Ok, I HAVE been drinking, but SA sounded ok. They played at a CT casino on 6/28 though. The file was uploaded on that date.So this is either Holmdel or Camden (which I attended). Thanks for the clip. Good find.

Coming out of the Camden show, I thought Augeri was pretty passable. His voice was shot by the July 3rd show in Hershey though.

Just re-watched it - The video says 6/27 - Holmdel, NJ And if I had read Neil's title of the thread I may have known that. LOL

Someone has this whole show and I want it.

This performance isn't bad. I'm waiting for more comments as I have been hitting the beers all day.

JSS will get the Journey gig. I think he's an excellent vocalist, although the band should adjust things to make it work properly.

I an a fan of Augeri (and Perry of course). Would like to see Steve Augeri do something and answer some questions. This post on youtube showed me there is still something there and he can sing, I think. Could be wrong. Paul Stanley sounded like ASS on the last Kiss tour. However on recent shows and his solo disc, his voice has been top notch.

He was definately singing live on this clip.

I really do like SA. JSS as well. If Steve gets better, what the hell, keep 'em both.

Hard to tell due to the terrible quality, all I could hear is the crowd singng along.

I was at the Hershey show and he was HORRIBLE. I find it very hard to believe he sounded this good only a few days prior. Nice clips.

I just watched that video clip twice. I'd say there's no lip-synching going on there... but then I still say take the whole thing with a pinch of salt anyway so maybe I'm talking bollocks once again.

What I will say though is that if he's miming there he's doing a hell of a good job convincing people he's not miming

Steve sounds good if a little hoarse I hope he is recovering well and enjoying time off the hellish touring schedule. Holy crap though, did you see the size of Cain's arms!!! He looks like he could enter the next Mr Olympia!

That's why I'm still not sure I believe the whole thing. Yeah there's stuff that would make you think it's right enough, but some people have been close to the stage at multiple gigs and noticed nothing. Surely what you've seen and heard for yourself should count more than bootlegs and what folk tell you.
