Do you think Deano's suspension (or 1 week vacation as Andrew put it) was fair?

No, Deano is a cool motherfucker.

Deano's Suspension

Postby Saint John » Mon Aug 21, 2006 4:07 pm

I thought it was a bit much. HOWEVER, it is not my site and I respect Andrew's decision, even if I'm not in total agreement of it.

Weren't all the other threads about this locked, and Andrew asked us to drop it?

Nothing personal, SJ, just didn't want to see you flamed for this.

Thank you, I did not know that. Let's just hope people are somewhat mature about this thread. I am not trying to open up a can of worms. I'm just looking for people's opinions on what transpired. I, for one, do miss Deano though. He's a high-energy, passionate, entertaining motherfucker. But I certainly respect Andrew's decision.

I'm not sure why anyone feels the need to again raise this topic.

Deano is a colurful character and I know he has his fans. I like a lot of what he posts too - some funny stuff at times.

In all fairness to Deano - seeing there is somewhat of a reluctance to let him have a week off in peace, I have just ended his holiay time so that if he feels fit - he can contribute to this topic and defend himself if he feels the need.

Wow! Andrew good call...He is a bit unnerving and sometimes he can set others off with his words and his banter; but he's animated and lively. I do suppose you know that when he returns he will return with all the gusto and his pre-vacation antics and vibe. What can I say, I like the guy!

so.. a week, isnt even a week "down under" ..how "weak" but what the heck, it aint my front room.

Think some people are feeling pretty "exposed" without him, Ive noticed that some of the more spiteful people who post here, have been rather quiet too, no riding on the back o coat tails By the way, I didnt vote, thought we werent meant to bring up the Deano thing any more??

That is quite correct...yet all you do is complain here.

And I might add that when folks called for you to be banned, I held fast and said no. Maybe I made a mistake.

Do what you think's right Andrew. It's your site. Not anyone else's.

Having said that I voted that it should have been done long ago, purely because he does go too far. I don't think Deano is a bad person... just very slightly obsessive in some ways.

Some of this stuff has got so silly that I bet if the guy it's about sees it he probably laughs.

Uh oh. Hear that Neilseurobreathsmellslikeshitwhoalsohasyellowchicletts? Tell your 3 sisters, Fyre, Roxx, and Monker their days in the sun are over. I just love how Pebbles (Roxx), comes blowin into town when I am put in the penalty box, and then sits there and does his nanana na nana crap. HOTS was 100% correct. Those pathetic losers over at BT sit around and scheme for days on how to get me banned. They scheme more than Parcells getting ready for a game at Philly. Absolutely pathetic.

Now, hopefully, back to our regular scheduled programming.

Oh, PS to Roxx. All that "journalism writing for the Oceanside High school newspaper enable you to learn the art of underlining words? I read your bullshit, and trust me Mr. Nurse, I am onto your act.

Yes, this should have been done long ago.

Umm, hate to break it to you, but Deano has been banned a million times over.
This is not the first time Andrew has reprimanded Dean for going too far....

Neurotic Nags Camp eh? What name do you have for yourself Deano?

I'd say you'd have to be pretty Obsessive to go as far as you did.

Obsessive? You don't even know why I got the gate do you? It wasn't for abuse. Re read it all.

I openly challenged Mac, and he swatted me down. Thats it.

I am just saying, Monker, Neillookalike, Pebbles and now 13 are like chicks ...their partners ripped their dongs off and put em in storage.

Monker and 13 used to post well....as far as Pebbles and Euro, they have always sucked.

This reminds me of the days Jay Thomas did morning drive on a radio station in L.A. "Skidmark" the stations G.M. used to "suspend" him all the time for his outrageous behavior on air. It kept listeners tuning in.

The board does get a little dull with out the resident "shock jock". I do think the personal attacks and gutter talk go a little over the top at times.

However, it's all about free speech. "W" and his cronies have done their evil doer's best to bury it, like it never existed.

You know nothing about me that I don't want you to know, Beano, and you never will. What a half-wit you are. Why Andrew feels this forum can't sustain itself without your childish, foul-mouthed blithering idiocy is beyond comprehension.

BTW, I never attended Oceanside High. I wrote for daily newspapers, entertainment tabs, and music magazines, numbskull, and got paid for that. And I'm a hospital unit coordinator, not a nurse, although I'd be proud to be one if that's what I had chosen to do.

What do you have against nurses anyway, Beano?

"Short week," indeed.

Talk about name-calling? You are so cute, Pebbles. Are you the junkyard dog this week? You know, BT's representative to come over here and set me straight? I know why I am despised over there. Because I did something that I wish I did 2 years ago. I got Augeri fired. I used to LOVE Augeri, but after finding out what a true leeching scumbag he is....He deserves to be blackballed. Calling yourself a singer, and not singing, is flatout disgusting, and furthermore, wanting to continue on doing just that is even more appalling.

I am glad you all over there hate me. I am doing my job rather nicely then.

Ya know Dean...this is old even from you.

I think that it unwise for you to keep harping on the broken record about Augeri. You have sins on yourself that I think you need to remember.

It's over. Making statements like these only demonstrates that more often than not you go for shock value over class. Enough already.

Whether or not you played a part in Augeri no longer being in the band is hardly relevant. And I mean that. You did what you thought you should (although with absolutely no class whatsoever in how you handled it). I personally tire of this whole way with you. I like you. I wish you well. But enough already. Seriously. Fire off, stomp your feet like a bully, get reprimanded or decide you went too far, then start the process all over again.

Not that my opinion matters. Carry on.

By now he's gone so far that Steve probably laughs if he sees it... it's pitiful a guy your age going on like this Deano.

I'd expect it from someone my age but considering you claim to be 40 you are rather sad and must have very little to do with your time.
