I'm tired or arguing and fighting with faceless people. I'm proposing a Melodic Rock Summit...a place to get together and argue/agree/drink.....WHATEVER. I live in Chicago. I'm willing to travel anywhere. But the Midwest is very centrally located.  Don't be weak...let's get this done. It would be SOOOOOOOO much fun.

There's a nice bar in Woerden, The Netherlands called the Bierhuys, the owner loves good music. :)

Andrew,I don't think Tasmania could cope with an MR invasion!Would be worse than the Conquistadores invading the Aztec Empire!

Can we come one by one, tho?Your invitation is tempting. 8)

I've only seen Foreigner twice and, both times, it seemed like there was something missing from their live sound. I don't know what it was. The performances weren't bad, but far from the best of the shows I've seen from other bands. The sound was very thin, in my opinion. I've also got the "Live at Deer Creek" DVD and the sound is a little better but basically the same.

That being said, I would be interested in seeing them with Kelly Hansen. From the clips I've heard, it sounds like he's close enough to Lou Gramm to pull off those songs.

Chicago is wonderful! I should know. Born and raised there.

It is amazing how people are different in person than behind the anonymity of the internet.

Congratulations, Laurie. Not only is Wisconsin the fattest state, it is now the most drunk one too. Congrats to the Badger state.

How can any of you not want to hold the summit in California? No state comes close to it, and if you say yes, you are lying.

Hawaii is a state? I thought it was a new country?

If you can't drive to it, draw a line through it.

Thanks, I read about that on another board, it's actually Milwaukee.

Milwaukee has been ranked by Forbes.com as "America's Drunkest City" on a list of 35 major metropolitan areas ranked for their drinking habits.

I'm proud that I was born in Milwaukee :D

Fat and drunk, how wonderful !!!

California??? Sorry, it has to be more central for everyone
:)
