WKTU "Rock & Dance Remix" Weekend

...I heard a remix of "Don't Stop Believin'"....WITH the original Steve P. vocals!

God it was cool - but then again, I love all that kind of stuff :wink: 8)

The beat behind it was (I think) from that old dance song from the 80s that goes:

"When I hear music,
It makes me dance...
You got the music;
Now here's your chance"

Ladies, do you know the song I'm talkin' about?

Trying to find it....when I do, I'll let ya know...

It's almost like "clockwork":

Had the shit-weekend-from-hell; wanted to do SOMETHING with the pent-up "rage" I still had....went to work to redecorate our Sunroom with new swag-style curtains....brought the boombox with me - turned on KTU:

And that song was on!

I immediately felt better! :wink:

Shit weekend from hell here too...must be an East Coast thing :shock:

Blasting the tunes usually helps. I have my Anthrax: Among the Living CD handy for those occasions :D

The version on the pages though has Castronovo on vocals - there is a version that samples the original but they didn't release it because it was way too expensive to pay Sony for the rights as they own the actual sound recording, hence a 'new' vocal take.
