God it was cool - but then again, I love all that kind of stuff

The beat behind it was (I think) from that old dance song from the 80s that goes:

The version on the pages though has Castronovo on vocals - there is a version that samples the original but they didn't release it because it was way too expensive to pay Sony for the rights as they own the actual sound recording, hence a 'new' vocal take.
