What's goin on guys?

Hey guys, what's up? Even though I've finally made an account, I've been reading here and there. Well I'll introduce myself by saying I'm a big Journey fan at the age of 18, and their music just kicks ass all over the place. I have attended my first concert a month ago in Cinci, and will be attending my 2nd in Pittsburgh on Sept. 13th.

Lemme just say that J.S.S did a superb job as a front man, and can really work a crowd and stage like no other. Although he has some great pipes, do you really think he can take over the reigns without the JOURNEY sound if Augeri isn't able to come back? From posts I have read, looks like you guys don't approve of Steve A. and I was just wondering why? He seems like a great guy, and although he had to replace a LEGEND at the vocals, he did a fine job himself in stepping into the lineup and with the guys. Soto I look at the same way, as Augeri became Journey, they had to fly Soto in to replace him as he went down, and that takes BIG BALLS to step into those kind of circumstances and into a tour like this. Kudos to Jeff for stepping up to the plate when needed the most. But as it is said, he is in for the time until Augeri will be back. Can Journey be able to survive another Lead Singer? After all, I am curious to see what Steve A has to offer since I never got to see him in concert, besides the 2001 DVD haha. We'll see I guess

It's good to post and talk about my favorite band...JOURNEY

CHEERS!

Welcome YoungJRNYfan!!!

Can Jeff take over the reigns without the JOURNEY sound?

Jeff nails all of the songs (from the boots I've heard) and adds some spice and energy to each song.

From posts I have read, looks like you guys don't approve of Steve A. and I was just wondering why...

I don't think people disapprove of SA, just that some (myself included) are just disappointed in what went on.

Can Journey survive another Lead Singer?

I think this is it... Jeff is in

Hello youngin' ;)

So cool that you like Journey. They have been my favorite band since I was 12.... 10 years ago, lol ;).

I have enjoyed every incarnation of Journey and continue to do so. There was some crappy stuff that happened, but it has been remedied and all is well, imo ;).

Have fun here, but stay out of the booze thread!!

I have seen Journey with Steve Augeri live, he was AMAZING!!! I am hoping that Steve Augeri is back singing for Journey very soon. I liked JSS in the Rock Star soundtrack, but he is not right for Journey, he sings too different than Augeri and Perry.

Another to way to look at the situation is, what will happen to Soul SirkUS and Talisman if J.S.S goes for Journey when givin' the knod? How will their fan base react to such a descision? The only thing I want is to have the Journey continue haha.

You saw a taped mannequin..You did NOT see a live singer. Give that loser the boot he deserves. FUCK Augeri.

I'm 19 and it's nice seeing a fellow young Journey fan. I've seen them 6 times (twice with JSS), soon to be 7 after the Bloomington, IL show on October 28th. I used to post a little under the name SuperAugeriFan1 but am very excited about this current lineup. It's amazing to think that JSS doesn't even have that many shows under his belt yet. He already commands the stage so well and really gets the audience involved. I am excited to see what is in store after this tour finishes and beyond.

WARNING!! WARNING!! DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!

Incoming!!!!!

It's funny, but these red flags just jump out at me. I don't go looking for them. If you're legit, YoungJRNYfan, then welcome aboard, but in my mind, there are just too many things in your post that just don't seem to jibe, especially for an 18 year-old fan.

Welcome to the boards!
