On the bootleg of Marysville I hear Jon Cain welcoming JSS as Our friend and singer... no mention whatsoever of replacing Steve Augeri or of SA being sick. Seems like they've made their decision.

They didn't acknowledge him at the Shoreline show either.

I also noticed that, those BTers will never believe anything tho until an " offical statement is made". I never really gave too much thought to those BTers until I see the way post are deleted and such. They seem too see only what they want too see. I never wanted too beleive any of the "Tapegate" stuff, but I listened, I read, listened some more and read some more and I have my own thoughts. Right kno my thoughts are JSS is in, Augeri is out and the band has extended this tour, too my knowledge they have never added tis many dates to a tour with Augeri. You would think that if JSSwas really a replacement they would end this ASAP, instead they added a third leg too the tour.

The orginal tour was from 6/23- 8/31. Then due to ticket salesthey added some more dates through 9/23. They have since added more dates. So some dates were before singers changed and some after. I think thet are going to add even more dates.

We need some "an evening with"s and we'll see what they roll out of the catalogue w/ JSS.

Interesting points. Hadn't really thought about the addition of dates. Could it be they are extending the tour to give Steve Augeri time to recover and come back??

As much as I liked SA, I still don't think he's coming back.

If you think about it and see everything that went on here, how could he come back?

And if he was coming back, surely we'd have heard something by now... I know he has other stuff on his mind but still, doesn't take long to type a one-line e-mail to say he's still around or whatever.

yea les, if SA did come back , the band would have to address tape gate as well,, with jss they have great talent and dont have to address anything ,, SA gave me a couple of great live shows,, soto is out of sight too..

What I have a problem with is the fact that the guys won't just say he's gone.

There are people who know obviously because they know people... but there are also some who are convinced he will be back and they're just gonna be even more upset the longer the band puts off telling their fans who their lead singer is.

Those same people are convinced that they will hear the "official" truth from the band at BT, too, but when was the last time that happened??

Anyone who thinks Augeri is coming back just isn't paying attention. It's been over a month now, and not one word from him. Frankly, I don't believe more than 15-20 people even miss him or care to hear from him. I think the band knows that, too.

Yeah. And his wife used to post stuff on message boards quite a lot. Not one word from her either.

My guess is the guys have cut all ties with SA. I don't like to say it but that's what I think.
