I am watching this guy and I just love what he does!
I haven't been so jazzed up about a guitar player in a long time, since Satriani rocked my world! 8)

Timmons is melodic and powerful, not to mention his amazing technique - really impressive!
From what I know he was on the G3 tour in Japan with Satch and Vai,but unfortunately they never released a DVD...

Here's Timmons in action for all of you guitar maniacs out there.

....and a nice presentation here:http://www.prosoundcommunications.com/english/video/andy_timmons/index.html (just click the Introduction & BB Preamp link)

I met Timmons in Milan while he was touring as the guitarist for Simon Phillips band. A very nice chat with a great and humble guitar player.
He played great that night, I went on to buy his Danger Danger records (his guitar parts are great) then his solo records, very good and diverse , a-la Steve Morse Band I'd say.
Great player indeed

Timmons is good, but if you want the next guitar master, it has to be Kenny Wayne Shepard. In my mind, the best.
