Deano,
I appreciate more than I can say the subtle meaning behind your avatar. But dude - no one wants to see you go all "fluffy lamb" on us :)

Here's Matilda & her twins
she was the smartest ewe there was
Sadly she passed on a few years ago
but she is fondly remembered

Make up your mind. You plead with me to mellow, and I finally do, and that is still not good enough.

I like this nice, polite, gay new person I have become here in the FRIENDLY cozy confines of this fine warm place.

Thanks for your concern though, I appreciate it immensely.

Your pal,

Dean

LOL
All I know is she was very appreciative
We sort of inhertited the sheep
They would have become dogfood
if we hadn't bought 200 plus head of them them for I can't remember ut about a dollar each
& let them stay on the land

So when my parents went to live there
they sort of had to become sheep herders

anyway some locals came to visit
and were taken aback
When Matillda went and stood behind my Mom for protection
Now these were farm folk
& they never saw anything like it

Thing is the animals can tell a good spirit
and Moms is the best

Matilda would come to Mom by name just like a dog
So don;t ever think that all sheep are dumb...
but no, she didn;t talk...
Anyway that was 20 years ago and Matilda is long gone
but this is Baby & she's pretty special too

Larry,

Which version of "Reach Out" did you post? The one with Journey, or the one where Perry sings it with JBJ? I have them both........... :D

I agree. Didn't sound Journey-like at all. Did they really sing/play this stuff at a Journey concert?

Your background vocals are Cain, Jackson and tapes.........

They played Reach Out, Jailhouse Rock, Stand By Me, O Sherrie, Foolish Heart, and Strung Out on ROR tour....

Their reasoning? My guess is this quote from Perry in Billboard, and I am paraphrasing here-

"This is a record for radio, of radio and because of radio."

The background vocals makes sense, since I don't really know what Jackson sounded like by himself. Neal wasn't singing backup?

Okay, they played those songs because of blah, blah, blah, but people were there for Journey, right, not old Motown covers. As much as I like aspects of the ROR CD, I'm really glad now that I didn't go to a Journey concert during that era.

Me too Larry. A little over 20 years ago I saw the ROR tour in August. Then I got to see them again in Marysville this past August. Hell, where does the time go? :? :D
